Speak in Complete Sentences Day
About the Holiday
OMG, do we have to? Yes, Speak in Complete Sentences Day is a day set aside to recognize and practice in the increasingly lost art of speaking, and writing, properly. As slang, informalism, and texting lingo continual their assault on proper language, this holiday reminds us to enjoy the satisfaction of good language skills.

That leaves a few members of this website, out of the loop. They do not know how to use good language skills..... *cough* smoking baby, BG, BHFAN, courgar14, scitis.

Oh quite the contrary my chicken strangling Libety County Queen.  Watch:

Dayton aint going to win squat this year.

Dayton aint going to beat the far superior Eagles this year, either of them.

Dayton aint got enough sense to cancel your season tickets.

Dayton aint going to be making more retarded videos at sonic after their film director drug-up.

SETXSPORTS aint going to bear the burden of reading those homer ars Pupleforever predictions in 2013.

A sniker aint going to stand a chance with you near the snack bar.....  ;D ;D ;D
Broncos don't win squat<--yep thats right. They wins football games chickens/eaglettes are the ones who are familiar with the term squat.
Dayton aint going to beat the far superior Eagles this year.. (Oh man your brain "ain't" thawed out yet I see)..The Broncos gonna stomp a mud hole in those eaglettes and put a horseshoe brand on them booties on the way out.
The eaglettes "ain't" got enough sense to just stay home during football season.
You eaglettes wish you had a superior film director to video your losses... OH WAIT.. that's the only smart one who stays home in barbies hill.

You must of had a monkey on your back making you read those PforE predictions. No self control, can't think for yourself, <--- :-[

You are always trying to remember where the real snickers are.. the snack bar? or is it the bathroom?  :P

  National Go Barefoot Day
Feet aching after a long week? Today is the day to kick off your shoes. It's National Go Barefoot Day! Embrace the beginning of the summer season and join people across the country in this shoe-free celebration.

National Go Barefoot Day was launched by a non-profit organization called Soles4Souls. The real purpose behind this quirky holiday is to encourage people to donate new and used shoes to the victims of natural disasters. Take a moment to do a little spring cleaning and give away the shoes you no longer need. You can even organize a shoe drive in your community. So let the sarcasm begin so you can feel better about yourselves...

    National Rocky Road Day
Today is National Rocky Road Day! Rocky road ice cream is a delicious dessert with an interesting culinary history. In 1929 after the stock market crash, a man named William Dreyer (the founder of Dreyer Ice Cream) calmed his Black Thursday nerves by creating the original rocky road. He mixed chunky almonds, mini marshmallows, and delicious milk chocolate ice cream to create a new ice cream flavor that would make people smile despite the tough economic times. It instantly became an American favorite and soon became popular all over the world.

Did you know that in Australia, people add jam to their rocky road ice cream? And in the United Kingdom, they add cherries and raisins! Celebrate National Rocky Road Day with a delicious rocky road ice cream sundae. Yum!

  Repeat Day
Did you know today is Repeat Day? Did you know today is Repeat Day? That's right: Repeat Day is a quirky holiday celebrated every year on June 3, giving you an excuse to do things over and over again!

Take this opportunity to repeat things you enjoy, such as watching your favorite movie twice or going in for that second piece of cake. It could even be as simple as giving your kids two hugs before they go to bed instead of just one.

Repeat Day can also be a funny holiday to share with your friends. Try sending them the same email twice or the same text message throughout the day and see if they pick up on it!

Happy Repeat Day! Happy Repeat Day!

  National Old Maids Day.

“Old Maid” refers to an older, childless woman who has never been married.

Now-a-days, being a single, unmarried, woman is not looked upon as a “bad thing”.  Some women choose to focus on careers and their lives, postponing marriage and child bearing until later in life and some choose to always remain single,  independent and self sufficient.  However, years ago being unmarried and childless was very much frowned upon and these women were referred to as “old maids” or “spinsters”, which was a degrading term.

Today, to celebrate National Old Maids Day, get together with a group of your friends and play an “Old Maids” card game or bake a tasty “Old Maid’s Vinegar Pie” or a delicious “Old Maid Cake” Get after it boys make some pies.. ROFL

    National Running Day
Today is National Running Day! Every year on the first Wednesday of June, runners everywhere celebrate their love for this age-old sport. Did you know that running was the most important athletic event during the first Olympic games in 776 BC? A cook named Koroibos won the 200-yard “stadium race.” He was crowned with an olive wreath.

    National Yo-Yo Day
There’s no better excuse than this fun holiday to dig out your old yo-yo and show off your talents. It’s National Yo-Yo Day!

Did you know that the yo-yo is considered the second-oldest toy in history? In Ancient Greece, yo-yos were made of wood, metal, and terracotta and were often decorated with pictures of the gods. To pay homage to their families, children would place their yo-yos on their family alter as a rite of passage into adulthood.

Since that time, yo-yos have been a beloved toy for people of all ages to enjoy. However, the term "yo-yo" wasn't coined until 1920 when a man named Pedro Flores began manufacturing the gadgets at his factory in California. He gave the iconic toy its modern-day name and it's been a hit ever since. Did you know that Presidents Kennedy, Johnson, and Nixon were all fans of the yo-yo? They would often show off their skills in the White House!
