Of course MBG is bored! There are only two seasons in this part of Texas... Football season and NOT football season. (Well four seasons, if you count Hurricane and Hunting seasons). These are the kinds of posts you get during NOT Football season.  Back on topic, I think smitty has a shot at the DC position if Nederland ever passes a bond issue... ;D

Well good.  Then you know the same DC did nothing before Neauman took over.  So i say it was Neauman's influence that caused the defense to get better, periodically.  I just contend that with a different DC,  Neauman possibly would have played in or gotten a State Championship.  It's going on, what, 21 years and nothing.
Heck, even Burnett accomplished that.    ;)
