[/quote]well i hope he has an injury free year if he does. Imo he is an average high school qb but a d1 baseball player. My friends grandson is the #1 high school baseball prospect in texas this year and could have been a geat addition to his football team but didnt want to risk injury. He is on a different level than kaleeb but denny still has alot to lose if he is injured. I guess each athlete will do what they think is best.

[/quote]sure hope they dont go 5a. While they do have a nice senior class this year they will be average and fighting for a playoff spot in the near future. Im still thinking daytons young team will be a tough game for sc. I just hope both teams are healthy when they play. I dont want any excuses from summer crap.

You clearly haven't seen our Freshmen from last year ...but you'll see some this year.  We also picked up AJ Jeffrey from CE King.  Dayton is the has-been team.  I can see why you dominated in the past.  Unfortunately for you, there's a new beast in town that owns the district.  The SC game will be your superbowl.  Enjoy it.  Our trophy case is filling up fast with District trophies.

SC doesn't spend a lot of time with the Freshman or JV squad.  They grab the top talent and move them to Varsity where all the attention is placed.

I tend to agree, but that's what I've observed as a parent of two players.  Their starting JV runs the offense/defense of their upcoming opponent all week in practice.  Its tough for the JV kids to play their own game because they don't get much time to learn the SC playbook.  The coaches just look for kids that are shining and/or help plug a need on Varsity.
