How is that nominated and selected? I know another kid from the Houston area that was selected and was wondering if it was worth playing in?

A coach from Houston contacted the area coaches to see if there were any Sophs in our area worth nominating.  It is a BIG deal to be selected it also helps you to get more looks for the next level.

Yes. It's an excellent opportunity for some exposure. My son played for Team Texas several years ago. Not a lot of glamour, but some good talent.
