over all 3 major team sports in SETX.

EC.

Football has won the district 2 of 3 years vs. Newton, and gone 3 rounds deep. 20 years straight in playoffs.    :)

Basketball has won district over Kountze. In playoffs 20 years and only SETX team made it to AUSTIN this year.    :)

Baseball. Reigning district champs.  :)

This is hard to argue with.

Newton has success in track also. Newton finished 3rd in the state this year. First in 4 by 100 and First in 400 meter. Two of the 4 by 100 will be back and starting on the football team. one is a junior and one is a sophmore.
The most consistent in all sports is definately Nederland.  They went deep into the playoffs in all the major sports the last several years. Great program going in Nederland.(and I am a PN-G grad).

I'd say Nederland. Always making the playoffs in football and baseball, and going deep also. Basketball is doing good. Softball is still a good program. Soccer won DC. Just a all around great sports program going on over here.

I say Silsbee is a given in basketball and football every year to make the playoffs. This year, baseball is very good. 4th round and beyond? Several athletes at state track tourney and some dominate golfers. Silsbee has a very long streak in football and basketball for playoff appearances. I think baseball as well.

BG, I am a Nederland homer, but the question addressed best programs across the big 3 sports...hard to argue against Nederland...just this past season, DC in football and baseball...regional finalists in football, 3 rounds deep in basketball, and the same in baseball...the year before saw another football DC, a basketball DC and a playoff baseball team...Nederland has had some outstanding success across other sports as well

It doesn't say the three big sports. It just said sports.

Which schools do u think are the most consistent over all 3 major team sports in SETX. Lets just say over the past 5 years.
Name the school and sport that has been to the last 4 regional semi's and this year quarter finals?
Is it the same school that's went 121-44 the last 5 years? ;)

SC by a mile.  Only gone up since day one.  We've won championships in two districts.  Best pound for pound team in the region.

Nope, Ned has had two straight undefeated district championship runs (about to be a third). Basketball has won like 3 out of the last 4 District titles, Baseball is always in the playoffs..

That's right razor.  The original post said "over all 3 major team sports in SETX".  I'm not saying that Track is not impt and that soccer is not a fun sport, but if you live in SETX and you don't know that Football, Basketball and Baseball are the 3 major team sports, well then, you are on your own.  I can't help you.  We play soccer and run track to get faster for friday night football, period! :)

'm going by the heading that says"most consistent sports program in setx". Pay attention to the title. Either way it's Nederland. I assume you just want to be a smart arse. ::)
