Its hard to argue LT as an all time dominant program, from 1983-2003 their record was 79-132-1. There is an argument for Celina, 68 consecutive wins and 8 state titles is hard to beat.

I think you are basing your opinion on more recent history.  However, Katy did win a Class A State Championship in the 1958 season, I believe.  Can you believe that - Katy with a single Class A High School when they have a whole district
of 5-A schools now.  :o

Basing it off of atleast the last 25 years and spurts before that. 70-15 playoff record since 1980. Katy has been strong for a while. Look at the stats. Most of their state champioships are in the 2000's, but this is already the 13th year in the 2000's. That's why I said Katy. ;D

I honestly don't know the answer to this because I don't know their history, but I hear a lot about Newton.  Should they be in this conversation?

Newton has had some fantastic teams. I think they have 3 state titles. I know Katy, Lake Travis, and South Lake Carrol are very high on everyones list. I know Austin Westlake has had some very great teams as well as Alto and Aledo.

The Sealy Tigers & Carthage Bulldogs would definitely have to be included in this discussion. Correct me if I am wrong, they both won 4 consecutive Class 3A State Championships. Sealy in the 90's & Carthage in recent years.
