I think WOS89 really means how the kids are not well coached. Talent level always goes up and down but WOS is a very athletic team. Would WOS be a state champion this year with Thompson probably not. But would they look sharper and play better technique probably so. La Vega might have beat them this year with Thompson but i dont think ive ever seen WOS let a running back run down the middle of thier defense without being touched.Â

It’s not that impossible… different sport but look at Kountze and their success for years in basketball… here a few years back they went through a tough 2-3 seasons because the talent just wasn’t there… still had a state championship level coach but just didn’t have the jimmys and joes to win.
