Nederland Game - Sep 27

Hey everyone,

I'm an out of towner visiting Texas for the first time in September. A buddy and I would like to experience a high school football game and saw that Nederland was playing near we're we'll be. Can someone help out and explain how I can get a ticket for the game? Do games usually sell out?

Thanks for your help... I'm looking for a real Texas experience and you can't do that without seeing a game.

usually can pick one up at the gate... or if you are in town early swing by the home team field house on campus and pick one up...

Thanks -- Saw that they're playing Vidor. They're a rival, right?  I'll only be able to pick up a ticket right before the game. Do you think i'll have a problem?

Is there anything I should know --- Like how is parking?

That will get the Nederland fans stirred up.... The only Rival they have is PN-G....  The game will be in Nederland... parking is spread out a bit.... for that game... I would get there early....  it will definitely be a full house on both sides of the stadium..

LOL at the rival part.  It depends if you want to sit on the home side or visitor side.  Nederland is at home this year.  Parking is ok, you will probably have to park in the neighborhood and walk to the stadium.  You should be able to get tickets at the NHS office the week of the game, I would advise getting one on Monday or Tuesday of that week.  There will probably be a few tickets left at the gate but i wouldn't risk it.

HHAHAHAHAHA I guess it has to start somewhere... but I am sure there will be just as many PN-G fans at this game so they can at least see 2 quality teams on the field in the same game at least 1 time this year hehehe ....  :P :P ;D ;D

[/quote] If you cant make it to the school try to get to the stadium around 5/5:30pm. The gate wont be open i believe but the ticket booth should be opening up then.

Btw... for what it's worth, the reason I chose Nederland for a game is that they seem to be the team in that region (Close from I-10 to Louisiana) that is consistantly good.

Thanks, Our town has been lucky to have some great coaching the last 20 years or so.  Not to mention some great students as well. :)
