This was just La Grange's year.  They smoked that team from Texarkana in the championship game, and won state.

First off, Congrats to the Tigers for a great season!!
Do you guys think that maybe Tyler Powell threw a little too much in the Diboll series, or was LaGrange just that good with the bats?

I think Tyler was fine. You got to remember seven of the eight runs where scored after where two out (I think). Silsbee made several mistakes that lead to seven of LaGrange eight runs. LaGrange did what good teams do and made Silsbee pay for those mistakes. And that is baseball..........

This game was about inches, if CF makes that play on the grand slam . Things could have went either way, LG just got hot at the right time. Pitching was huge for us in our playoff run, bat's came alive at the right time.
