Well I'm jealous 4 sure. especially when I see our gym like it is HJ it was built in early 60's I believe, but both of you make very good points, I think there will be many schools going out for bond elections to take advantage of the tax credits. And I do agree about the PLANK you just do not see craftsmenship like that anymore. It is a buitiful work of art, And I saw OF gym tonight, i have to say I was very impressed, it was a very nice gym. Good luck to all of yall the rest of the season.

heres my top 3

1) Kirbyville- very nice...the mural is awesome

2) Barbers Hill- The new gym is awesome...straight up reminds me of dukes gym very simillar

3) Vidor- Just awesome plain and simple..i like the way the bleachers go up high

i havent been to too many gyms but i think buna has a nice one for a small school and i like vidors a little

I think I've seen them all and from the stands I like the Evadale Gym.  There have been some nice Gyms built lately but the Evadale Gym is primo. From the court the new gyms seem to have too much court space and the stands sit back too far.  Evadale just seems to have the right mix.  But it really good to see all the new gyms being built.  Wish we had one here in Warren.

Evadale - Awesome Gym, huge.

Deweyville - New facility, good job with seating and PA System.

Barbers Hill - Haven't seen it in person, but my brother said it is top notch.

The worst part about Hardin Jefferson's gym is the NOISE level.  Even when the game isn't that exciting....  the acoustics are awful in there... it hurts your ears!

HJ's gym isnt that nice but you can make it very loud at times but BH has the nicest gym in the area

Evadale's gym is awesome.  And yes, I'm jealous.  I wish our school had that gym. 

And as far as the one team on the floor for practice, they still have their old gym just right next door.

I saw BH gym at the tourney, it was awesome, I still have to say evadales gym overall, but their are several aspects of BH gym I like better.
