Cuz no team in District 19 can say they BEAT SC ...including Barbers Hill.  All you can say is that you lost by the least amount.  Sad.  District 19 begins and ends in HUMBLE ISD.  Fortunately for BH you play SC at home.  You don't want to face 20,000 faithful at Turner Stadium ...aka Title Town.
The only time you may even see close to 20,000 is on September 13th -- and even then... you'll have to be looking across the field to see that.  ;D
What team will be getting their L at the hands of SC on 9/13?
Y'all play PNG at home Thursday night on the Sept. 12th. I guess that's what he means?

I was surprised last year when we traveled to play SC in the playoffs.  Not too many fans showed up on their side and Vidor's side was pretty darn full.  Then again, they "think" their enrollment is less than 1400...... ;D

Not many SummerCreek Fans showed up, because many SC fans have more things going on in our lives that are just as important, or more so, as high school football. The SummerCreek area has a lot of business owners, and Oil company upper management/Fortune 500 middle/upper managers that live there, and do have the time to rabidly attend the games. I personally was in Rio De Janeiro/Brazil during that game, and I am not going to re-schedule a important business trip for a high school playoff game. I did hear that SC had about a thousand people there.

Well thanks for clearing that up.  All this time.... I thought Summer Creek was only filled with janitors, fast food workers and ditch diggers.  ::)

That number seems awfully high considering 51% of the students at SC are economically disadvantaged.

HAHA!!!! For you to be "oh so busy" ::) tending to other issues in life, you sure seem to know the approximate size of the crowd that night (I personally think it was less than that).  Clearly those that live in the SC area deserve an outstanding citizen award.  Demdawgs you sure went all professional on us here, did Google and Wikipedia help you with that response??  ;D

D@mn, this is getting embarrassing. Kind of like shooting fish in a barrel.

River Oaks - ever hear of that area? Median household income: $90K. You saying SC's median income is almost 75% higher than RO"s?  In any case, you probably meant "mean" income, not median. RO's mean income is $173K.

http://factfinder2.census.gov/faces/tableservices/jsf/pages/productview.xhtml?pid=ACS_11_5YR_DP03

SC's attendance zone is zips 77396 and 77044. Mean for those is around $77K.

By comparison, Katy's mean income is over $120K. They've been known to bring a fan or two to games despite their high-powered and wealthy residents. So not sure there is such a correlation between high income and low football attendance.

I personally was in Rio De Janeiro/Brazil during that game, and I am not going to re-schedule a important business trip for a high school playoff game. I did hear that SC had about a thousand people there.

Not many SummerCreek Fans showed up, because many SC fans have more things going on in our lives that are just as important, or more so, as high school football. Well thanks for clearing that up.  All this time.... I thought Summer Creek was only filled with janitors, fast food workers and ditch diggers.  ::)
Per the Census Bureau figures, median household income of the SC area is $150,700.

Me thinks that some SC players and/or SC teachers that dont even live in Humble are posting under names on here with all these inaccuracies about attendance, wealth and school enrollment.  ;)

That number seems awfully high considering 51% of the students at SC are economically disadvantaged.
The master plan communities where Summer Creek derives its name is SUMMERwood and FallCREEK. Both communities have high median incomes. Fall Creek has a PGA golf course. Summerwood is full of big ballers like me :-) SC also has some low income neighborhoods zoned to the school. The school will be a nice mix of demographics as the community matures. I believe there's a lot of families w/ young kids currently.

That River Oaks # has to be skewed by some other neighborhoods.  I'd imagine Summerwood would be in the 55K range

Well..  win or lose, we show up to support our team.

The BH game was on a Thursday.  That's a tough day for most people.  Also, BH really didn't provoke a lot of interest. It was pretty much a given SC would hang an "L" on them.

Speaking of population... how's Jeffreys working out? Missed any practices yet?
Jeffreys looked uncomfortable at receiver in the Spring Ball game IMO.  He dropped a lot of passes.  This will be interesting.  He's clearly a gifted athlete and will make a nice addition to SC's roster.  I'm getting some Terrell Owens vibes from the young man, but I've only been around him for a short time after the Spring Ball game.  I can see him being a handful at C.E. King where he was the spotlight player.  At SC he's one of several highly talented players.  Hopefully this will have a positive effect.  The combination of Jeffreys and Torrey Johnson sounds incredible.  That's a homage to the original Greatest Show on Turf ...Isaac Bruce and Torrey Holt  ...Jeffreys and Johnson ...I LOVE IT!

    • I personally hope PN-G gets 2nd gets to the 2nd round wins the flip against SOC and drag them them to Houston to play
    • I like option number two, PNG and Nederland both win. Nederland i’ll be the district champion, number 1 seed or whatever you want to call it. Yes I know that if two or three teams tie with the same record, they will be called co-champions and everyone gets a trophy. One team however will go in as the first place team in district and will play the fourth place team in the bi-district round. If PNG and Nederland both win, Nederland will be #1. • Virginia has same day voter registration. A person can literally walk in to the voting location, register and then vote. So the premise that Virginia might be stopping people with a legitimate right to vote is nonsense. From what I gather in the news report, assuming that the ones I have read are correct, the people that were removed, filled out a drivers license registration and marked that they were not an American citizen. Could the person have made a mistake bychecking the box incorrectly? Although unlikely it is certainly possible. That same person who was removed can go into the same voting location where he would have voted and again, complete a voter registration and then vote.  That went into the Supreme Court’s decision.  If such a person votes by registering on election day, he fills out a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots are not originally counted and or not counted unless needed. For example….  Statewide there are 500 provisional ballots cast. A person wins the election by 4,000 votes. That would be no need to count the provisional ballots as it will not matter. Then let’s say there are 5,000 provisional ballots cast in the election. One candidate then wins the election by only 1,500 votes. In that case, the election could definitely swing on those provisional ballots. The state will then investigate each person to make sure they live at the correct address listed and that they are American citizens. If these things are correct, the vote will then be counted. Safe Harbor is not untillll…… I think December 17th this year so there will be six weeks to verify the provisional ballots if needed. The purging of the names of people who checked a state form saying that they were not an American citizen, will not stop that same person from voting.
