Can't argue there.  It's a real crying shame for them to suck as bad as they do in BASKETBALL.  If we can have a serious, non-homer convo for sec, I blame coaching with the basketball issue.  The BBall coaches want kids equally devoted to BBall as they are football. They've passed on some really good kids that play football.  Perhaps because they didn't feel they'd get the commitment because of football's offseason program.  This is somewhat understandable, but that team REALLY needs help.  They should be more flexible and try to work with the kids coming out of football.

As for baseball, soccer, softball ...SC is football school plain and simple.

Different demographic right now.  Not a lot of kids playing baseball or soccer at SC.  It's really Football, Track and Basketball (but I won't claim that team).  Over time, I can see a better baseball team.  No idea what will happen in soccer or other sports.  I hear BH has a killer chess team

That's actually food for thought Buddy.  One of the few interestings things you said this summer.  I need to see Ford win with a lesser talented team.  To this point, his winning has come with a superior talent to the opposition.  He's yet to win a big game against a team where SC was out matched and required coaching to pull out a win.  I like Coach Ford a lot ...but he's still has a way to go to prove himself as an elite coach.

Not bad is it.  We'll stay in 4a so we can keep beating teams like SC that think they're so great." that was posted by TradinUp BH.

Can't argue there.  It's a real crying shame for them to suck as bad as they do in BASKETBALL.  If we can have a serious, non-homer convo for sec, I blame coaching with the basketball issue.  The BBall coaches want kids equally devoted to BBall as they are football. They've passed on some really good kids that play football.  Perhaps because they didn't feel they'd get the commitment because of football's offseason program.  This is somewhat understandable, but that team REALLY needs help.  They should be more flexible and try to work with the kids coming out of football.

As for baseball, soccer, softball ...SC is football school plain and simple.

Different demographic right now.  Not a lot of kids playing baseball or soccer at SC.  It's really Football, Track and Basketball (but I won't claim that team).  Over time, I can see a better baseball team.  No idea what will happen in soccer or other sports.  I hear BH has a killer chess team

BH doesn't have a soccer team. I don't know about chess. SC should be called Humble Consolidated, because it takes several schools to combine in Humble to compete. You telling me all your athletes live in Summerwood and that golf neighborhood? Come on man, it's recruiting at its finest. There's a reason for your trash talk, any school that's built by a landfill is going to have some trash talkers.

No way that attendance zone for SC has a dozen D-1 prospects. Period. In district transfers is the new way of stacking a school. As long as the school isn't 95% full. Larger school districts have been doing this for years.
