Jdaddy Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 Me and my brother recently went to umphrey pier and of the shore of Keith lake, fished live bait and had little to no luck (with the exception of some hard heads). Anyone having better luck anywhere else? P.S we do not have access to a boat
mat Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 I've heard of catches at Umphrey and Pleasure Island walls on live shrimp but as always it’s not always consistent. Hit and miss
westend1 Posted June 13, 2013 Report Posted June 13, 2013 If I had no boat, I would get some shrimp and fish the Keith Lake pass in the evening. You might also try the Texas Bayou bridge down south of Sabine Pass. Lots of reds and some specks come through there when the water is moving.
bullets13 Posted June 14, 2013 Report Posted June 14, 2013 At times it's good along North and South Levee Rd

A location might have a bunch of people catching limits in a short time and the next day at the same time have people catching nothing or hardheads.
