Read that the Kolek brothers of Shepherd went to the Rangers area code team tryouts yesterday. Tyler reportedly hit 102 on the gun and Stephen hit 94. Whether those readings are completely accurate or not, Shepherd will have to guys bringing it next year.

Bridge City beat Shepherd and the Kolek brothers in the 1st round of the playoffs this year.  With 2 pitchers throwing 94mph+ it's hard to believe Shepherd could only manage to get 3rd in district and barely sneak into the playoffs.

The younger brother pitched against BC.  The older one was injured.

The older brother got hurt very early in district, and did not return.  They should be picked to win district next year, as long as those two are still there and healthy.

Broke his wrist on his non-throwing arm.  It was a collision at 1st I believe.

Any chance they move?  I've heard Shepherd didn't have much to help them.  I know a couple of schools that could set them up a new mailbox.  ;D

Heck with two arms like that all Shepherd needs is to scratch out 1 or 2 runs a game and they should win most of them. No chance they will move. Why do they need too, throwing that hard every scout in the country knows who they are and were Shepherd is now.

Our pitcher from La Grange (Supak) plays on the Heat team with them, said this last weekend they were both bring it upper 90's up to 102. Pretty impressive.

Lepfan, Shepherd has a few younger boys coming up that will be in the mix to help next year. They will have a better offense next year. These two boys are the real deal, good to see them doing good cause they work they butts off.
