Why don't the bunch of you take this love fest to a hotel room.

The only chance 19-4A has of stopping this team is talking about 5A competition a year (or more from now).  MBG being the biggest mouth in this sad argument.

How bout you focus on the teams SC will see THIS YEAR?  Of course you can send your scare signals about what a school with 3500 kids will do to a school with 2,000.  Big deal.  Y'all are geniuses.
La Porte has less than 2200 kids. Try again.  SC is fun to watch. So is Manvel. But, with no D, it's over quickly. All you're proving is 19-4A has no D's. ;D
BOOM!  ;D
Sure ...its all about the other's team defense and has nothing to do with the quality of SC's offense ...right, right.  Also, you basically slapped every school's defense in district 19 ...I'm sure there's many that would disagree.

And didn't Vidor hold the mighty Netherland to a few TD's?

And didn't the much touted Nederland defense get run out of the stadium by Georgetown?
If you actually attended the game like several of us on this site did you would have known the mistakes the NED offense made in that game that caused a great deal of good field position change (caused by the great defense of Georgetown: there's that D word again ;))

Repeat from an earlier post . . . 19-4A enrollment numbers as of October 2012, according to the Texas Education Association:

Summer Creek 2186
Crosby 1482
Dayton 1391
Houston King 1794
Humble 1483
Humble Kingwood Park 1681
Mt Belvieu Barbers Hill 1297
New Caney 1421
New Caney Porter 1493

SC is up by over 160 students in the one year since the October 2011 snapshot, and is about 50% larger than the average of the other 19-4A schools.

At almost 2200, SC is in the same range as La Porte, PAM, Manvel. One of the big differences between SC and those three is that La Porte, PAM and Manvel have all won three or more playoff games in a single season within the past two years, while SC has only won ONE playoff game in those two years.

Past two year playoff records:
La Porte 5-2
Manvel 7-2
PAM 4-2
SC 1-2

First MBG ...the only "boom" was Manvel dropping the BOOM on PAM last year.

Second, you keep dismissing the impact of Humble's rating issues and kids that transferred to SC.  Lets look at how Humble's numbers look over the same period.  Their numbers are down ...and I'm quite curious to see how things level off this year.

Third, SC had the "hot new school" effect in the area as well.  I know of kids that came from GREENSPOINT and surrounding areas to escape Aldine and Sheldon ISD's.  I don't know the numbers at the middle schools ...SC just graduated a large class as well.  This: http://www.uiltexas.org/files/alignments/4A-fb-bb-enroll-2012.pdf  has SC at about 2020 and Humble at 1550.  Without transfers both school would be around 1800.  SC wouldn't be more than the 1900's for sure.  I know HUM398 would disagree ...but let just see how it plays out this year.  SC's enrollment could swell further as kids find ways to attend the only winner in Humble ISD ...and the middle school incoming class could be large as well.

It's going to take a realignment and new homes to bring in more kids to Humble ISD.  On SC's side of the area, most of the existing communities have been nearly built-out.

PAM fans like MBG shouldn't wishing to see SC in their division ...they should be worrying about Northshore and Manvel.

Manvel 7-2
PAM 4-2
SC 1-2

Thank you for helping my point ...if you look at the UIL #s from the link I posted ...it has Humble at 1550.  Your numbers have Humble at 1483 ...where are these kids going?  AHS?

SC fans like you shouldn't be worried about champagne and getting fitted for state champ rings, they should be worried about advancing past the 2nd round of the playoffs this year finally (with all this All-world talent that you supposedly have that remains to be seen past 2nd round) then worry about how many athletes in that football program that will transfer out of SC after the next re-alignment to enjoy playoff success for the remainder of their HS years eslewhere.  ;)

Galena Park and North Shore are two different schools, they're in the same ISD and play in the same stadium. NS has over 4600 by themselves, Galena Park has less than 2000. NS Mustangs, Galena Park Yellow Jackets. They just call them GP North Shore because that's what school district they're, much like y'all are listed, Humble Atascosita,  Humble SC or Humble Kingwood Park. North Shore is a completely different place than Galena Park.

MBG ...was just shocked at Northshore's numbers.  The high school doesn't seem large enough to house that many kids.

Now Manvel ...truly a thing of beauty ...less kids than PAM and beat the brakes off of them.

Ohhh... I know where that campus is.  Man, their enrollment is off the charts.  I can't even clown PAM for losing to those guys.
yeah you shouldnt, the series is 3-2 NS, its back and forth every year with each team winning the year after they have lost, its a rivalry: the way it should be.

Will give you this one moment of respect for hanging with NS.  With NS having twice your enrollment, that's pretty incredible for any team from Port Arthur of all places.  Good Job PAM.

Now Manvel ...they have very close enrollment and treat you guys like Channelview.
