If he is being recruited by New Mexico at QB they will have 2-3 SR QBs and 1 JR  there once Reed gets there if he chooses UNM. Good chance to start as a Red-shirt Freshman or True Sophomore if he works hard enough.  8)

Another Tiger player that wasn't mentioned that I expect to sign and play at the next level is RB Floyd Spearman. Has a DI body at '6"0 190 lb.

[/quote]I think he should play receiver or safety at the next level if he has an NFL dream. New Mexico is pretty short on talent so they run an option attack to cover up some of their deficiencies. Only issue with that is option qbs usually don't develop as passers so a lot of times they don't even get a shot. He needs to use that length against dbs instead of being a big running target in an option offense. Good luck to him though.

Patrick Reed also holds an offer from Texas State.  He is being recruited by Running Backs/Tight Ends Coach Jeff Conway.

QB Patrick Reed is taking two visits next month (ULL and La Tech) and its been rumored a decision could go down in late July. Both schools haven't offered.

A recruiting website quoted Reed stating his top two are Texas State and Louisiana - Lafayette.  He wants to commit by the end of July.
