AggiesAreWe Posted January 17, 2007 Report Posted January 17, 2007 The dressing rooms I can understand because of how small, but the press box?The Press box is as good as anyother around hereThere's no better press box in the area than the one at Tiger Stadium in Silsbee.
CardinalFan Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 There's no better press box in the area than the one at Tiger Stadium in Silsbee.I'd beg to differ with that now that BC has their new press box
swampdude Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 Yep, B.C.'s new pressbox has a restroom, video deck up top, and an elevator. But Silsbee still has that fried chicken!!
AggiesAreWe Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 I think we've been over this Galena Park thing. It is not considered an area stadium. If we include that stadium, then the Berry Center is way better than Galena Park. But, like I said, none of these are local stadiums.
Guest BLADE Posted January 18, 2007 Report Posted January 18, 2007 As far as the actual playing surface HJ has to be the worst. Soccer pounds it so tight it's like playing on concrete in spots. No grass on some areas of the scoreboard end also due to soccer. Liberty runs a close second. HF stands are horrible as are EC and Buna.
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 I hated the stands at EC, all bunched together, along with the stands in KVille also.
setexc Posted January 19, 2007 Report Posted January 19, 2007 Best- Dayton turf (next year will have new bleachers)    SilsbeeWorst- Deweyvilles old field      Chester, HF
Guest Ozen Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 Best DaytonWorst HF, Babe isn't great either.
HORNSFAN86 Posted October 25, 2007 Report Posted October 25, 2007 HF is bad by design, we hope that the traveling team fans won't come cheer their team on if they are not comfortable. Just kidding, we are a less fortunate school district than other's and can not afford any extra luxuries. Hey at least we have a descent concession stand.
NewIndian Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 All i can say is wait till next year all you news guys will love the 3 story press box with the elevator, and the kids will love the turf, and the fans on both sides will be getting good seat since were adding more to the home side, i dont know about the visitor sides, but concession stands on both sides of the stands with bathrooms, on the home and visitors sides. should be getting a new scoreboard also with the jumbotron
bullets13 Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 it's been a few years since i played, but i distinctly remembering hardin being pretty bad. also, we had to change in their gym (i ran naked across the top bleachers in order to be seen by anyone who may be walking by). I haven't been there since 2001, so if it's nicer now, don't get mad at me hardin fans...
prepballfan Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 The best is going to be right here in Port Neches next year
Serpentor Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 Dayton & Silsbeei agree, but Daytons turf is nasty
BIGMO44 Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 Best: Silsbee/DaytonWorst surface: Babe is pretty thin on top
Slam14 Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 The best is going to be right here in Port Neches next yearNEXT year?
JAV Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 Yep, B.C.'s new pressbox has a restroom, video deck up top, and an elevator. But Silsbee still has that fried chicken!! There we go with the money to BC again....Rita destroyed our pressbox yet we didn't have enough money to put in an elevator, but BC does? Hmmmmm, something's wrong with this picture somewhere....
southern-thunder Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 I think we've been over this Galena Park thing. It is not considered an area stadium. If we include that stadium, then the Berry Center is way better than Galena Park. But, like I said, none of these are local stadiums. If you cant count the Galena Park stadium then you cant count Dayton either they are only about 10 miles apart.
SPORTSFREEK Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 H-J has a good one. Has a great built in drainage system. It's a really good design. I
babyshoe Posted October 26, 2007 Report Posted October 26, 2007 Silsbee - bestLC-M worst.... there are about 8 seats total on the visitor side. always hated that.
AJ25 Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 Silsbee - bestLC-M worst.... there are about 8 seats total on the visitor side. always hated that.lc-m had a really nice stadium, but your right...they do need a bigger visitors side.
WH-BackInThaDay Posted October 27, 2007 Report Posted October 27, 2007 Hardin has the worst visitor's side, and getting dressed in the gym kind of stinks. Sabine Pass has a small visitors "everything". Evadale has the worst smell by far. It'll make you gag. Silsbee has the nicest I've seen 3A and under especially. That thing is great!! Iola has the worst playing surface, pissant beds, stinging weeds and hazardous fence right behind the endzone. Also, the field smells like a hog pen. Yuckie!!
