If A Coach wants to spend his time in the summer and the kids want to participate why not let them all coach 7 on 7?  I mean Toby comes into a program that is well under where it should be and he is trying to gather as much info as he can to put a competitive team on the field during the district games to make it to the playoffs and because he provides rides, water, and a little support he is getting ambushed from someone who has nothing but some photos and what he thinks no proof of anything but an [i][b]ASS[/b][/i]umption! Trust me I have no horse in this race.... but to sit idle and watch someone get railroaded over a few pics and someones witch hunt just isn't my bag!!

I have no association with Coach Foreman or anyone at Central ... I just hate it when someone blows something up that isn't that big a freaking deal!!! I understand he isn't suppose to give rides per UIL rules... I get that.... ok slap his wrist and move on.... but to try to make it bigger then it is... PFFFFTTTTT GROW THE F UP!!!!!!!! just like in one of the photos taken by "Jerry" he states Coach Foreman parked in Handicap parking space... if you look at the picture ... it is taken so you can't see the wall in front of his vehicle... and yes there is a emblem on the wall but it appears to be for the spot to the left of Toby's vehicle... and there is one on the right side on the ground ... but I can't tell from the photo if the one he is in is a HC spot........ if your going to make that statement make damn sure you have the photo proof to back it up....

This has Mel Gibson written all over it. Why would a investigative reporter want to spend so much time and money to investigate an unsanctioned sporting event that is very loosely covered by the UIL. This is definitely someone with a grudge. I believe somebody is trying to discredit some coaches or damage these teams. What would the coaches being at the games hurt when they are new coaches trying to learn about the kids. I think if someone hired a private investigator to look into Mr Jordan you would probably find he was paid to do this by a disgruntled someone.

The problem is that BISD is being run by a bunch of criminals so now everyone is under a microscope. Because of a few bad seeds ruining the district, good people are going to be investigated too. I don't think it's right but that's how it is. When I attended West Brook years ago there were never any of these issues. Central is specifically under a microscope because of Patricia Lambert and all her extortion and fraudulent schemes. I hope the district can clean up and survive this debacle. As far as the coaches, they are new and I hope they don't receive more than a slap on the wrist but I would make sure that I did everything by the book from now on because you are being watched very closely and for good reasons.

that statement is conflicting... first you say  you hope they get a slap on the wrist because they are new coaches... then you say that they are being closely watched and "For Good Reason"..

Coach Barbre (sp.) from Lamar had the girl's basketball program doing very well in the NCAA tournaments. He innocently gave one of his players a ride home because she didn't have one. NCAA violation.....gues who wasn't coaching there ever again. What a shame.

I wasn't aware that the UIL was as strict. To me, 7 on 7 is a joke. Maybe the players and coaches like it because it gives them something to do. Everything changes with pads on. Just my opinion.

I agree. Some rules are ridiculous but they are there because people have abused them in the past. I doubt the coaches even knew they were doing anything wrong. I'd follow all the rules from now on to avoid any more head aches.

BISD is the laughing stock of Texas and I'm tired of my tax dollars being wasted and stolen. Central extorted there own students! Kids! What's right is right and what's wrong is wrong. First...none of us knows if the staff at Central did anything wrong. But, if they did its ridiculous to think they didnt know they were doing wrong. IMO this is all a little over the top.....With that being said, if they have broken the rules they must suffer the consequences.

[/quote]...the 'investigation' have been going on for almost 4 years now.  How long does it take.  Even the Federal Government got involves and the person that 'they' wanted still walks free.  But, you're right.  That's another topic, another day.  Now, its good that you take your kids to Kelly.  Whatever floats your boat, I guess.  But, if your 'tired', I'd suggest that you just get up and leave, just like the others that have high tailed to  to Lumberton.  That way, you'll never have to be tired again.....  Or would that REALLY be the end of your tiredness?

I guess the asst superintendent that was indicted for 3 felonies for extortion in the New Orleans school district that is now extorting the kids at Central (the school you support) is not a criminal. Maybe you should get tired too. Why is BISD hiring felons and putting them in leadership roles?

This is really ridiculous.  Every team has coaches present.  Lots of schools don't have the demographic issues that Central has.  Lots of their kids can't afford to make those trips to Houston, that is assuming that they have parents that are involved enough to take them.  So for Toby and his staff to be willing to drive them, and buy them meals, in my opinion, does not make them violators, it makes them heroes.  These KIDS need positive role models in their lives and if the Central and Ozen coaching staffs are starting off their tenures by doing that, then more power to them.  Mr. Jordan would be best served to stick to investigating school board members and things like that and leave the molding of young men to the ones who are invested in that. 

Just a side note, if I was on that central staff, I would be very very upset about Mr. Jordan's wild assesment that he might have seen Central football players escorting "scantily clad" women to their cars at 7:00 am.  He better be sure he saw what he thinks he saw before slinging that accusation.  The pictures I saw are not enough evidence for that accusation. 

This whole thing makes me very sad for those young men and these programs, and causes Jerry Jordan to lose the little credibility he had.  I know he is here reading this.  If this is the type of attention you were looking for Mr. Jordan, you've got it.
