Dove compared staying in the Golden Triangle and trying to further your basketball career to playing piano in the school band instead of taking your talents to Juilliard.

Basketball IQ Posted July 16, 2013 Report Posted July 16, 2013 It appears that the competition level and school participation has fallen off drastically. Very sparse crowds and teams at Silsbee this year and for the teams that did show up they were less than impressive. Wondering if this "splintering" of schools to hold their own league as well as the 7 on 7 eventually make summer ball unproductive....

stevenash Posted July 17, 2013 Report Posted July 17, 2013 Some AAU tourneys that some of the players were out of town for
BLUEDOVE3 Posted July 19, 2013 Report Posted July 19, 2013 Yeah, I mentioned this last summer that many of your serious players will begin to miss the local school tourneys. Kids want to play against the best and try and get better.
aTmfan06 Posted July 20, 2013 Report Posted July 20, 2013 Your a 5A beating a 2A in SUMMER league... don't get ahead of yourself
