Dear "GoodSanta" stop crying. I really hope the kids at HJ have a great season. Im here just to poke fun. Truth is HJ wont win more thta 3 or 4 games. The program is in rebuilding mode and 21-3A is top heavy with Silsbee and WOS. If they beat Buna, OF, and HF, they will earn a playoff spot. Doesnt 4 teams go in now? They could win all 3 or 4 in district and be a playoff team. Good luck on that goal. Beating Silsbee or WOS shouldn't be a goal. Craw before you walk bro!!

Also Silsbee girls basketball programhas had 10x more success than HJ football. 3 trips to state and COUNTLESS playoff appereances. At least 10 allstate players over the last 15 years. HJ football, not so much. No it shouldn't be canceled because they have struggled in the past 5 years.

21-3a is only wide open in spots 3 and 4. It never matter who wims district for silsbee and wos. It seems for the past 5 yrs silsbee only Plays Huffman. Wos d2 so they never have a chance to meet up later in the playoffs. Im not a fan of all the d1 and d2 splits.

Not popping off. I really don't believe every coach realistically believe they WILL beat Silsbee. Do they believe it can happen...I sure hope they do. If they realistically put a W or L next to each game like Aggie did...I don't think they would bank on a W on that one.

I like HFTP's confidence in his team but getting on here and saying the things he says is the wrong way to go about it. I'm sure Silsbee has players that get on here and read this. HJ was already going to fired up for that game but now Silsbee will be too. Time will only tell. Maybe it can be the game of the week.

Ok, go back, read my post and show me one derogatory thing I said about David Martel.....The only things I ever said were truths about how he ran the program.... Lack of discipline, kids not held accountable, no summer program, etc (this list could be much longer)…. That is not a derogatory statement unless it is not true! The parts about players in the wrong place, or playing favorites, well, that Farmer is pure opinion (which I am entitled to, this IS America)… So that would not be derogatory either unless it was untrue….. If I had said (and I never did so you will have to prove it to me) that he was dumb, stupid, or incompetent, now THAT would be derogatory… See I think I know what is happening here….. All these things I mentioned I believe to be true and you believe to be untrue…. I can prove that they are true…… Look at our record for the last 10-12 years…… When 2013 is in the books, you will all see what I am talking about….. You will see the difference between a team that is undisciplined, not in shape, and not ready vs. a team that is in shape, disciplined, and prepared …. That is not derogatory towards David Martel that is a simple truth… Now Hudd on the other hand, I don’t know what he was thinking….. I never said anything derogatory to him or about him… His door may have been open, but in my humble opinion, he didn’t have the authority to change anything… He still works for Martel and I understand his need to agree with his boss… That is another one of those “show me where I drug him through the mud” post you will have to prove to me… This is the last time I will defend any post that has our previous coach’s name in it because we are looking forward. I wish Coach Martel and his family all the best in their new school and hope he blows the doors off everyone he plays. I know Andy will do well because the kid is a freaking athlete… Fran…….
