Just a little something out of the woods. ;D ;D I'm waiting to see how our JV take their next step up. As I always tell my grandsons who will be playing together this year, talk is cheap, you got to do it on the field.

They could be a surprize team if they can find a deep snapper for punts.Seems they are similar to Crosby.Always have quick skill players but give up alot of defensive big plays.They do have a pretty good place kicker 8)

I think Livingston needs to look into building a new stadium. What a joke of a facility, not to mention they're 4A. Has to be the worst 4A facility in the state

[/quote]You all should beat us, and there would be no shame in losing to this Silsbee team with the experience and talent they have. But we will give them a game and it will help our team a lot to  play them even if we lose. We could lose by a lots or it could end up being a game where Silsbee will have to bring their game because our kids never give in to anyone. I really believe we will lose this game, but I'm looking forward to see how our kids respond.

[/quote] I remember Livingston having a pretty good team in the recent past with that same horrible stadium.    My point is that it wont have any bearing on Livingston's play on the football field...

The field @Lion stadium reminds me of the old stadium in Jasper,pitched in the center for drainage.Problem some qb's have is to be rolling out & throwing on the run and have tendencies to throw the pass and have it sail over the reciever. ;)

[/quote]Yea, they do have some talent that will have to prove themselves, but there is one kid that is a DL that will have a great year that I can't find any clips on. But I know from watching him for the last 6 years this will be his best year. After I see their 1st game, I'll have a feel for this team at every position.

I am anxious to see them against Dayton in pre district.... That game will tell a lot for Livingston.  IMHO.  We all know there is no love lost between these two teams....  ;)

[/quote]Right you are OctFeb, I'm looking forward to them playing a talented team as Dayton, they always play hard against each other and always clean game. We could'nt ask for two better teams to play against in pre district than Dayton and Silsbee along with adding a 5A team as well. Looking forward to coming to Dayton this year, just know I'm going to have to take a ribbing from Tex. ;D
