It's really hard to gauge what Central will do in any of the questions that Jackthehammer posted.  There is a lot of unknown.  I know that they looked crisp in the spring football game, but it's games vs. yourself.  I havn't seen him implement a game plan against anyone nor have I seen him make an in game adjustment.  But, what I do know is that this team, talentwise, will be just as loaded, if not more loaded than the reigning district champions.  Can they be put in a position to win 8 games?  It's possible.  Can they beat Nederland and PAM?  Possible.  Can they rival the Champs for the district crown, most definitely.  Maybe after a scrimmage, I can make a better analysis...

Soulja I know you looking with great anticipation to this coming year, but you are not sounding unreasonable in waiting, but I believe they will be alright, and will be pulling for you all except for one game. Good luck to your Jags.
Hey Trocket, your Lions play a Saturday game at the Butch, our ONLY Saturday game of the year.  We may need to hook up.
We can hook up at another game, I got a feeling my Lions gonna need all the help they can get on their side. And having 2 grandson and a number of other kids on that team that calls me PaPa, puts me in a position that I'll have to be there. But I'm looking to be there in the playoff with you all if things work out for the Jags.

Jags will go 8-2, only loosing their first and last games of the regular season to PA-M and Nederland...you all will be surprised in what difference 1year makes with a different coach that he himself has a winning attitude.  8)
I agree that PAM will be their biggest test because it's their first game against a talented team. But Ned will be in trouble facing the in the last game because if this will jell it should be by then. So I predict them being 9-1.

By week 10 Ned will be jelled and be going into playoff mode. Also with the better coaching, and winning attitudes, Ned will be very tough for Central in week 10. Probably harder than PAM because they'll have no film on the new Jags, by week 10 Ned will know the in's and out's of Central.

With everyone thinking Ned will just have a cake walk to be DC, I don't think so, this will be the game to be at on that night. If we are not playing for a playoff spot that night, you can bet I'll be there. Good luck to Ned as well ;D

No one at Nederland is thinking it will be a cakewalk.  Not in this district.

Not underestimating one bit, I just know that we'll win. Central vs Ned will be for the crown. Central will go all the way through the district unbeaten until the Ned game. Whoever wins that will be 20-4a champs

Vidor/Nedeland game is very important since Nederland is y'alls rival.

you know as well as I do... Vidor doesn't have a Rival.... because 20-4A has always been a "Don't lose to Vidor" mentality.. its that us against them thought process around here...  only because of our recent success has the Vidor/Ned game been a Highlighted game other then on our side... so I am not claiming a Rival... I am just claiming Nederland and the rest of 20-4A better come with your chin straps on tight....

Nederland is not looking past Vidor, but there are several things working against you beating us at home.

1. Overall, Vidor has beat Nederland 9 times in almost 65 games
2. I don't know when the last time was Vidor beat Nederland at home. (1982 , I think)
3. Nederland hasn't lost a district game at home in almost 3 years.

    • Virginia has same day voter registration. A person can literally walk in to the voting location, register and then vote. So the premise that Virginia might be stopping people with a legitimate right to vote is nonsense. From what I gather in the news report, assuming that the ones I have read are correct, the people that were removed, filled out a drivers license registration and marked that they were not an American citizen. Could the person have made a mistake bychecking the box incorrectly? Although unlikely it is certainly possible. That same person who was removed can go into the same voting location where he would have voted and again, complete a voter registration and then vote.  That went into the Supreme Court’s decision.  If such a person votes by registering on election day, he fills out a provisional ballot. Provisional ballots are not originally counted and or not counted unless needed. For example….  Statewide there are 500 provisional ballots cast. A person wins the election by 4,000 votes. That would be no need to count the provisional ballots as it will not matter. Then let’s say there are 5,000 provisional ballots cast in the election. One candidate then wins the election by only 1,500 votes. In that case, the election could definitely swing on those provisional ballots. The state will then investigate each person to make sure they live at the correct address listed and that they are American citizens. If these things are correct, the vote will then be counted. Safe Harbor is not untillll…… I think December 17th this year so there will be six weeks to verify the provisional ballots if needed. The purging of the names of people who checked a state form saying that they were not an American citizen, will not stop that same person from voting.
