What are the odds (Ozen Edition)

true but in that season also it took extra help for them to make the playoffs in which if i remember correctly was Central Loosing to PN-G and Vidor beating Livingston...
[/quote]Things happen for a reason.  In 2003, we needed big help from PN-G just to make the playoffs and made it in as the 3rd seed and ended up marching 3 rounds which was at that point historical for Central...

Soulja, in no way was I questioning the Coaches credibility. Was responding to blogger "Coach" that posted last yrs records. JMO, I think 1 - 3 in district is a toss up. Central & Ozen no doubt has talent. There is no reason for either school to miss playoffs with 4 teams going. Yeah I said it, no EXCUSE to be absent from post season. We should be one of the 4 every year with the talent we have. Other 2 spots the rest of the District can fight for that. It can be done. We did it @ Lincoln in Basketball forever. It takes belief & a Coach that knows & cares about their players. I can hear the naysayers now.
"Non Believers" Losers Mentality. Hopefully MaGee & Foreman have a winners mentality that rubs off on their programs. It starts at the top.

+1 Bigcam2903, look forward to a better mentally prepared Ozen football team this year. lost several close football games last year because lack of mental toughness. the good teams find a way to win close, tight football games.  go panthers !!  8)
