ELI: Playing baseball in a state where some of the best baseball players have come from, did you play with or against anyone that is in the MLB now?

JAY: Yeah, Clay Buchholz of the Red Sox grew up about ten minutes from me in Nederland. But in Beaumont, Chip Ambres went to my high school. So did Ben Broussard, but he is a lot older than me.

Haha even though he did some good things for MC. Hopefully I'll get to spend a good amount of time out there again this summer when I don't have games.

Had Clay and Allen Harrington together on a World Series team in Weimar one year. Both got lit up, baseball is a game of overcoming failure.

Hey look forward to the summer, we have a spot for you.

i think I'm too old for the league now, 19 already. But Mack and I had talked about me possibly helping him coach a little bit if his other assistant doesn't come back. We'll see what comes of it.. I'd love to do anything I could out there, it's a great time.

That's what I meant, coaching or making the lineup out, not much coaching just let em play.
