Just got word from HD AD/HC Josh Finney. HD will be scrimmaging Vidor's JV and some Varsity kids that Vidor's HC wants to get a good look at. Either way a good test for the HD Bobcats, as they work to build a 1A State contender this season.

[/quote]Size alone won't get you a D-1 scholarship. Grades and your play on the field will help though. HD's Coach Finney has sent several players in the past to TCU and other D-1 schools. Like the "Maud Squad". HD has a few big kids. Kyle Hopkins TE/DE Junior 6'4 260lbs, Dezman Cook OT/DT Senior 5'9 260lbs, Chris Herman FB/DT Senior 5'9 230lbs, Kentarious Lavalais RB/DE Senior 6'2 215lbs, Cade Huckaby QB/FS Junior 6'3 200lbs, Darrell Lavalais RB/LB Senior 6'0 210lbs. I do agree you can't Coach size.
