It's really sad, if you're at Turner, during a SC home game.  With so much success, you'd think that they would draw a good crowd.  Maybe the past season's success will create some excitement, and better turnouts.  We didn't go to PNG for last season's game, and it will be interesting to watch on Sept. 12th.
You just know that PNG will travel big...as will Dayton and BH.

It's to be expected of young schools though. Even Dawson, which has won the region twice in 5 years, doesn't draw the type of crowds a Nederland or PNG does. I was on the Dawson side at reliant stadium when they played Nederland and was delighted with how much space their was to stretch my legs out.

When I was a freshman at Atascocita, I would attend the games every week. Believe it or not, the attendance at AHS' games was even more pathetic then at SC's games in 2010. [b]Tradition takes time to build.[/b]

How many Jr Highs VS High Schools are there in the Humble ISD? Are there certain Jr Highs that feed only certain High Schools or can you transfer to any High School within the district ...

In Humble ISD, it is possible to for students to transfer anywhere in the district, if they provide their own transportation. However, transfers into Summercreek are pretty much frozen/not allowed, and have been for a few years.

Within the district,  it is. HISD sudents who do not live in the Summercreek service area have to get approval from the school board, in order to be able to go to SC. Very few approvals have been given in the last few years. Most (99%) of SC sudents moved into the SC service area in order to go to the school.

One student that I know of, got approval to go to SC, only after 8 months of petitioning. Most are turned down, to avoid draining students from the other schools.

Success at SC is the reason for the turn out. There are so many great things happening all around SC, that football is only a part. Many SC people are too busy doing other things, to make it to football games. Being a new school, with so many successes........

SC has only two senior class so far and has been 20-3 in football with two district champs since then.  Won the State track meet in 2013!!  If the rest of you teams think they are not for real think again.  Their new running back D. Chapman (6"1" 215-220 4.4 speed) will be tough to stop,  I have heard that he will be a D1 college recruit .  We will see soon enough.    One thing I have not heard is how good their off. or def. line is??  Does anyone know??

D-line is solid, Offensive line is a bit more experienced since last year, but still needs work

One player to keep a eye on is Michael Petersen(Big Mike). He was 6'3", 285lbs, #57 last year. This year he is close to 6'4", maybe 290 lbs. He was chubby baby fat last year, but has muscled up a lot for this year. I saw him at Bulldog camp, and he seems to be in good shape and ready to play. Michael Petersen supposedly has committed to Texas Tech.

I heard SC has a guard Howard that is 6'4" 340 next to Peterson on the off line?  I heard that they have a center Thompson that is 260-270 that is solid?  I heard that the other side of line might have a soph that is really big?  Is this true??

First starting spot must be earned. Has accomplished nothing against a starting varsity defense. Passes the eye test,....................unproven.....not hooking the state train to an unproven horse....... I'm like the state of Missouri,  SHOW ME!  ;)

I don't know his stats, but I will try to find out.

Kingwood park has been pretty good in wrestling. ( my son is a hardcore wrestler, (SC wrestling team, and possible future olympian, hopefully). A lot of the football players wrestle in the off season, so that is how I know some of them.
