That's two weeks in a row we've made a late comeback from a deficit. I like that we have that ability, but man the turnovers have to get cleaned up. We're a young team learning how to play for four quarters. I trust this "loss" will give the boys a bad taste and motivate them to play smarter and correct the sloppy play.

Good "game", Vidor. 'Hope your team has a good season.

OK, Mustangs...next week it's the Real McCoy. Have a great week of practice and beat LCM!

Vidor was awesome tonight. Defense is solid and Brad Hartmann is a BEAST!!! You can only wonder if he could have played last year. Geth Simmons is settling into the QB role nicely and Sage Smith was outstanding. Those collisions between him and WOS's middle linebacker...you could hear them 3 blocks away. Lastly, remember this name...Halen Lekelt...Vidor freshman running back. You heard it here first!  GO PIRATES!!!

Cant wait to see how it goes with the Pirates vs how it went with Big Ned.  ;)

As weak as we are this year... we probably won't make a first down or even sniff the 20 yd line.... we will probably never see their first string... maybe 1 or two plays at the most... ;-D

Seriously Coach?  ;) BTW, your kids had a great game tonight as well. That defense looks well ahead of last year's defense, IMO.

Vidor did a good job WOS got to clean up turnovers which resulted in 2 tds.  WOS had 400 yds offense and thats without the kick return game, think that offense will roll once they hang on to the ball. Goodluck to both teams!

WOS will have a cake walk next week against LCM.

Yeah, right? Both teams will come very tough, well-pepared, and they will be ready to play! Anything can and will happen at any given moment! After all, both districts they represent are not only the toughest in the area but the toughest in the State!

In the past 21-3A hasn't been the toughest district in the State. There will not be a cake walk of any sorts on Friday.

WOS
Silsbee

#6 & #9 are gonna be a powerful asset to the Stangs this year also!

Agreed, #9 first 3 plays were solo tackle for gain of 2, solo tackle for loss of 3, solo sack for loss of 4. Punt. Not a bad first series.
