Magnolia at Galena Park

Magnolia is looking pretty good so far. Played one scrimmage and out scored a 5a in Aldine. Now we travel to play Galena Park Friday hopefully we can keep on inproven every week and surprise some people in district play.

RB's Harris & Solomon will be tooo fast for a slow Yellow Jacket team.Coach Sexton may have the surprise team in 18-4A.Bulldogs win this one by 14 to start 1-0.

I went to the Summer Creek vs GP game last Friday.  GP has a good quick QB and a couple of quick running backs.  their passing game needs some work.

Their defense could not stop SC but SC has a big line average app. 280-290.  Their QB's are 6'3" and 6'4" and can run and pass.  SC running backs are big 6'1"220 pounds and runs a 4.4.  So it is tough to stop a team like that.

GP has a big def line average 250-260 up front and their DB are good.
