robanadana Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 GCM and Lee to our district...I really thought it was gonna be BH and Dayton. I guess the UIL figured two purple teams over here was one too many. Man do I hate that color! Quote

Octfeb Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 I would be curious to hear some feed back from some Livingston fans (or anyone else) on their new district... Quote
Guest ECBucFan Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 Livingston finally got a break. Bryan Bryan Rudder College Station A&M Cons Conroe Caney Creek Huntsville Livingston Willis Not perfect, but much improved travel wise. Congrats Lions. Quote
H-D BOBCAT 55 Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 Deweyville has a tough District! Pirates want get to see 3 good seasons in a row. Back to winning a few games a season. Quote
NDNation Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 Where is Trocket? He could give us some feedback on the Livingston move. Also, Im going to kind of miss the Battlin Bears of LCM. :( Quote
Guest ECBucFan Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 Looks like just two longer road trips per season for Livingston. One to Bryan and one to C.S., and they are within 100 miles. The rest are along I-45, easy for them. Quote
workbootz Posted February 7, 2014 Report Posted February 7, 2014 Sending GCM and Lee to the Beaumont districts... Was a little surprised about that... Not surprised at all...its easy to travel I10 than highway 90 on a foggy night..but I think BH should've traveled along I10 with the other two!! Octfeb 1 Quote

The rest are along I-45, easy for them. Football road trips were not the biggest issue for Livingston. It was all the other sports that you play two district games in like Basketball (boys and girls), Baseball, Softball, Volleyball, etc.. that killed them. It meant that every week a few busses full of kids headed over to our area. Now they only have four of those trips, so they split it in half. Trocket 1 Quote

RaiderRed30 Posted February 8, 2014 Report Posted February 8, 2014 Just wait until next year. Carroll parents will be going crazy at Pennington. I think the visitors side is around 3k. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

badndn Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 Just wait until next year. Carroll parents will be going crazy at Pennington. I think the visitors side is around 3k. Pennington seats 12500. Same as Dragon Stadium Quote
RaiderRed30 Posted February 9, 2014 Report Posted February 9, 2014 Pennington seats 12500. Same as Dragon Stadium Yeah but the visitors side is really small. Saw Arlington Heights fill it up. Carroll's band will take up a lot of space leaving very little room Quote
