HJ-Hawks25 Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 Definitly Trey Burrell of HJ. Varsity his whole time in high school and did pretty good as a sophmore this passed year. As a junior his numbers should shine including that he will be the main part of the team next year.

WOS92 Posted February 23, 2007 Report Posted February 23, 2007 Aren't we all homers? Depauldrick Garrett will be a bigtime star this year, stepping up into the shoes that Thomas filled last year (after he stepped up for Beasley).

HOOKEM Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Kirbyville will be returning their top rb from last year (pierce rhodes) as well as returning two other good junior running backs in Broderick Jackson and Barry Burley
DP#1FAN Posted February 27, 2007 Report Posted February 27, 2007 Gibson-DeweyvilleHemmings-PNGGarret-WOSRhodes-KirbyvilleAll could be 2000 yards rushers next year.
indian28 Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Jake hemmings from png and new comer Josh wright will be a dynamic duo like cook and gholke a few years ago.. Wright only a sophmore this year has a 4.47 forty time and benches 370. the kid is close to breaking every school athletic record. id watch out for these two guys. with hemmings experience and wrights over all athleticism they will be unstoppable
bluedevil Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 Garret will be the best back by far in Southeast Texas maybe even the state next year. He will be Southeast Texas leading rusher by far. He is being highly recruited my major programs so get on his level.

indian28 Posted February 28, 2007 Report Posted February 28, 2007 josh wright of png only played 7 of the 10 regular season games due to being moved up and down all season long between jv and varsity and he had over 1000 yards rushing. from talking to some of his teammates i hear they have pretty high expectations from him going into the season opener against lamarque in reliant stadium
