biaplayer Posted February 12, 2014 Report Posted February 12, 2014 giblin showed alot of promise at wideout. Quote
PNG1977 Posted February 12, 2014 Report Posted February 12, 2014 I'm looking forward to watching all of these guys next year! The future's definitely bright!! The next several years should be some fun games as PNG fans! Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 + Sparks will be back. wait, I thought he was a senior? Quote
PNG1977 Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Nope, Kaleb Sparks is a junior :) Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
badndn Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Losing Rose, but returning Sparks, Murdock, Giblin and adding McZeal. Rose's shoes will be tuff to fill, but from what I hear McZeal could be crazy good. And he is a big target and still growing. I suspect the offense will score alot next year. Now can we improve on D enough to be a serious playoff threat? Thats the million $ ? Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 what grade is Rose lil brother in? Quote
NDNation Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Think he is in 8th, and a QB I believe. Quote
NDNation Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Then we're a long time from seeing him on Friday nights. :( Is he a QB? Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Ive heard nothing but great things about that kid on the field. Quote
jordibug15 Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 PNG jv beat Lumberton jv but Lumberton had 8-9 sophs playing on varsity at that point. I think it would have been an interesting game this year had all sophs from both teams been on jv. Thank you I was about to say the jv lost all but the gcm game then the sophomores that were on varsity got moved back down the jv won every game. They will be juniors so most of them will be playing friday nights. I'm ready for some Raider football! Quote

So the fact that PNG had 7 Sophomores on Varsity at the time that the JV put it to Lumberton doesn't matter??? Or how about the fact that the PNG Varsity, with 7 Sophomores pasted the Lumberton Varsity, with 8 or 9 Sophomores??? Your logic isn't really all that logical now is it? Quote
biaplayer Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 thought we had lost Sparks (thinking he was a senior also). Great news glad to hear that. The offense will be hitting on all cylinders no doubt. With a lot of youth the next couple of years nothing but great things can happen. Still im focused on Defense, what we looking like on that side of the ball? Quote
biaplayer Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 what about offensive and defensive lines, whats the beef looking like, did we lose Broussard at linebacker? Quote

Don't get me wrong, both PNG jv and varsity were both better than Lumberton during that week this year. I'm just saying that if you put all sophs on jv for that week from both schools then Lumberton jv wins, imo. Now, overall, the png sideline would have more talent because of numbers but you can only put 11 on the field at one time. Quote
NDNation Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 So you've been to a lot of Lumberton and PN-G JV games? Quote
biaplayer Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 cant see ltrain beating PNG regardless of how many sophomores played at any level. Has nothing to do with numbers, just a lil better talent level and coaching. no offense to Lumberton, but they are in the same district so that rules out numbers. but who knows anything can happen. AthleticSupporter - Jock Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 So you've been to a lot of Lumberton and PN-G JV games? I saw enough to form this opinion. Quote
Bigdog Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Trying to draw attention away from Neds QB controversy, that and the fact they may suck next year. NO MEATS! I think its the other way around. Seems Faircloth couldn't settle on one QB Quote
NDNation Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Walker was our starter and Morse in when needed. We shall see this year. Lucky to have both on the roster. Quote
JRidge Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 I love it! It's going to be crazy I just know it, and I also know that if Ozen ever get's a good head coach, they will make district title runs for the nextfew years! This years team will have a lot of depth and the O-Line has to be taught to be physical 1st and then spread game when needed! Enough Said! Lol tm1972 1 Quote
AthleticSupporter - Jock Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 Walker was our starter and Morse in when needed. We shall see this year. Lucky to have both on the roster. Both are extremely capable. But who wouldn't agree that Morse is deserving of at least an open competition for the spot. Against Summer Creek and Crosby, Morse rose to the top like the cream of the crop always does. Throw out SC because of a concussion. How can you ignore what went down against Crosby??? smh Quote
NDNation Posted February 13, 2014 Report Posted February 13, 2014 No one is ignoring it. You also can't ignore the fact that Walker was the leading passer in this district. Quote
