SilsbeeD Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Has BH been playing quality teams or are they just pretty good?
MIF04 Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 Hard to tell. I don't think they've played a difficult schedule but that doesn't mean they are NOT good -- they are 12-0 after all. I just wish we could get a better read on them against some quality opponents.
kerusso Posted March 13, 2006 Report Posted March 13, 2006 BH is always very good at baseball. They are the hardest hitting 3A team I have seen year in and year out.
sticky Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 Has BH been playing quality teams or are they just pretty good? You scrimmaged them.
Guest Jody Posted March 14, 2006 Report Posted March 14, 2006 You scrimmaged them. I'll be the first to admit it, I was not sure what the team would look like minus two power hitters that graduated last year. It seems the pitching has improved and the younger kids can swing the bat too. They are averaging over 10 points per game and are undefeated. Halletsville and Giddings are pretty good teams to chalk wins up against. Sealy has historically been a good team and BH won their tournament. They did play you (Silsbee) in a scrimmage earlier and will play you later this month, I think. Time will tell, but I think they continue to improve and move up in the standings. Huffman and Silsbee are in the near future, so let's just wait to see. I'll say BH takes both games.
