Salesman Posted March 6, 2014 Author Report Posted March 6, 2014 Listen to this guy. Please tell me you are from Anahuac. There are many programs, in our local area that have not had much of any success. There are a few schools, that have no even made the playoffs in 50 plus years. There are schools that have never won a playoff game. There are schools like Hardin, that has only won 1. Hardin's past is what it is. Nobody is on here bragging about Hardin's football success. Your punch was not felt, uknowit2. 1990-2000 - Never lost to Anahuac in any competitive sport. I love being able to brag about that, to my fellow anawackians' camsdad 1 Quote
Salesman Posted March 11, 2014 Author Report Posted March 11, 2014 The Big Hornet or anyone else with info. Do you have our full football schedule for 2014 yet? I know the non-district games. I was curious how the district games would fall. Thanks Quote
camsdad Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 I will get it from Coach Fortune. I'm thinking it will be released tomorrow. Salesman 1 Quote

Guest Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Yeah, looks to me like the Hornets are ensuring 3-0 before going 0-7. Hardin is not going to beat Huntington. You can forget that one. Legacy and New Waverly are much more likely. Huntington has too much coming in the Jr class. Javelina 1 Quote
H-D BOBCAT 55 Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 @WoodvilleWarren@KountzeEC@KvilleAnahuac@BunaDistrict play begins September 26Hardin will beat Warren. Hardin will battle Woodville and Kountze in a competitive game. So probably a 3-7 season. Quote
Salesman Posted March 12, 2014 Author Report Posted March 12, 2014 6-4 = worse case scenario 8-2 = best case scenario I have been spot on with preseason predictions for the last 10 years, so hopefully this group will not let me down. Thanks for the local support though gentlemen. camsdad 1 Quote

OLDGREGG Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 No way they go 6-4 and absolutely positively not 8-2. In district alone they will have losses to Buna, Kirbyville, Kountze, EC, Woodville, and Anahuac. I wish them the best of luck in the future, but this season won't be their's H-D BOBCAT 55 1 Quote
camsdad Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Only time will tell. A new scheme offensively and a massive o-line should lead the Hornets to more success this season. I believe 8-2 is a stretch but I hope salesman is right. Quote
uknowit2 Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 Ease up on teams like Hardin. This is their support's time of year, like now until around game 4 or 5 of the season. Outrageous predictions, mammoth Olines, 8-2 seasons, etc. They'll be out of here by the end of Sept just like always. Quote

Toss right Posted March 12, 2014 Report Posted March 12, 2014 What new scheme? They have same coach correct? Quote
mfd814 Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 This supporter is around year round. I do believe the Hornets will continue to improve, but I do not see 8-2. Keep getting better, keep working. camsdad 1 Quote
camsdad Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 I never stated that Hardin would set the world on fire come fall. Offensively, they will run a more balanced attack. Their smallest o-lineman is 6'5" and weighs 205. The next smallest is 6'7" and weighs 260. He has been offered a full ride to Lamar University. The biggest lineman is 6'8" and weighs 330. He was unable to play last year due to injury. I'm not on here to bash coaches or programs but simply to support the Hardin Hornets. H-D BOBCAT 55 1 Quote
camsdad Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 Udontknowit 2, the first district game is September 26 so it's not likely they will be out of it by the end of September. Quote

camsdad Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 Is the Adams kid good enough to play at next level? He would need to put on some weight to play at the next level as a lineman. He has a good work ethic so its certainly possible. H-D BOBCAT 55 1 Quote
