horndawg
I was looking over this and a couple things jump out at me. First, I think the district MVP would come from the undefeated district champs. I mean not to take away from the young lady who was named, but I would think someone on that undefeated team (Hulet...cough, cough) surely did something right this season.... Second, how in the world are there only 3 girls from the HF team on this list? You're telling me that there weren't more deserving girls on that team, with the great they had...? This one has little dribbler all-star politics written all over it.
Lazeek
MVP goes to the BEST PLAYER in the District. And that is clearly KB from HJ!!!
dBerrySports
Going off of pure value, Kesha Broussard is a very good choice. I don't think H-J is a third round playoff team w/o her, and that was with her playing with a bum shoulder all season. H-F to me was a great team with a great coach. Hence why I wouldn't argue with Toot getting COY
Callaway7
HJ might not have won a district game with out her. Now the amount of all district players on certain teams is slightly head scratching.
5GallonBucket
KB is district mvp hands down..... and as far as more hf players on the district teams...not sure about that.....Abby would ve been the only other HF player that could ve made it. my question is how in the world did 2 silsbee and WOS players make it..... I ve seen alot of these games....Silsbee didn't have an all district player...sorry thats the truth but i guess in today s world we have can't leave anyone out. My opinion means nothing, but i gave it anyways. Coaches voted on these......and sometimes it is political....i was once part of the process 4 BC 3 HF 3 Buna 1 HJ 2 Silsbee 2 WOS 1 Orangefield
passingthru
I had the privalege of watching these young ladies play for a large part of this season, and I was impressed with the grace, poise, athleticism, and sportsmanship they displayed while representing not only themselves, but their team, their school, and in some instance - their district. I find it insulting to these girls who worked so hard, that the coaches decide to vote for all district based upon "feelings" or "fairness" rather than facts and statistics. This does nothing but dishonor those girls' efforts. The coaches have only succeeded in further rendering trivial and meaningless what was once a great honor. luvdagame and bcpower
BBtiger
If you went of statistics KB was not even close to HH. "Just Politics" in the voting process.
HFfan5
There is a difference between best player on a team and the best player in the district. luvdagame
oldschool2
If you could pick any 5 players from the district to play against other districts...the first one you pick if the MVP. Obviously that's what the coach's decided was the best player. Doesn't always have to come off a championship team.
BBtiger
Does anybody know who got picked for Texas top 25 all star tournament. I here there is a list floating around. Trying to see which Girl or Girls got picked.

Riding Solo
Look at 20-4A and you will think 21-3A was not so bad.
Riding Solo
Atleast 21-3A did not every kid a ribbon. :) luvdagame
bball2011
I don't understand how The MVP, the offensive player, the defensive player, and the new comer of the year didn't make it on either all-district team. Can you only win one catagory??? SMH...
bleachersitter
Those girls made the superlative team. Higher honor than first or second team.
Callaway7
Look at 20-4A and you will think 21-3A was not so bad. There should be a limit instated or just give everyone all district. You woul think the coaches would get tired of voting for the 6th best player on a non playoff team lol.

You woul think the coaches would get tired of voting for the 6th best player on a non playoff team lol. You are correct, go look at 20-4A it is a joke. 43 players got something, that is 5.35 players off of each team. A few years back in 21-3A every starter on each team got an award but 2. Why not give them two a ribbon also and make it a clean sweep. LOL!!!!
rebel434
kb is mvp get over it. i would pick her first over HH any day! one shoulder or two
passingthru
Someone should come up with season statistics - that would eliminate all issues with "opinion". But then that might not be the answer all of the HJ folks seem to want..........
Callaway7
I'm hf but if you watch the games kb was a no brainer.
