^^^ True on BCS part but I will have to disagree with you as UCF hung 52 and beat them..... South Carolina beat UCF at there house and South Carolina didn't even win the SEC East Division nor did they play in a BCS game and was 11-2 just like Baylor. I do like the fact Baylor running that conference though!!! Baylor getting some recruits but they aren't running the state...

You're point? Northern Illinois played in a BCS game. Like I said they have to let someone in since they only allow 2 SEC teams.

My point is if A&M was running the state they would be playing in BCS Bowls not Chickafila. There was a time TCU was running the state and Patterson had them in the Rose Bowl. Matter of fact wasnt it two straight BCS Bowls for them?

Like I said your correct if your just basing it only on playing in a BCS game in which they didn't win.

A&M 20-6 (2 Bowl Wins) Last two years

Yes if anyone "Owns the Great State of Texas" it is Baylor at the moment.  Texas A&M while recruiting well does need to continue the winning to be considered the dominate team in Texas - but to say Texas owns this state at this time is a stretch.  Texas has owned the state for most of the last 100 years but the times they appear to be achanging  ;)

 

If Briles keeps  the winning going on in Baylor he will be a GOD in college football coaching ranks  :)

In the last 4 years both A&M & Baylor has the same overall record 36-16... Last 2 years A&M 20-6 (2 Bowl Wins) Baylor 19-7 (1 Bowl Win)

 

Difference:

2010 head to head A&M 42-30 W in Waco

2011 head to head A&M 55-28 W in Kyle

Baylor 2 Bowl Wins A&M 3 Bowl Wins

Recruiting: That's the trump card for A&M since the records equal.....
