BlackShirts5 Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 Who is everyone in here's team. Do you only like them for 1 sport or follow them in every thing. For me if you cant tell it Nebraska. I watch all their sports even softball. Our baseball is looking to be back on the right track with Erstad coaching them up. Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 I like to follow the police blotters. So I guess I like to follow the aggies. Amphibious Rodent 1 Quote
BlackShirts5 Posted February 26, 2014 Author Report Posted February 26, 2014 I took my 11 and 12 yr old boys to their first Aggie game this year against UTEP. They loved it and couldn't beilve there was that many people in the stand for a games lol.. Only other college games they have been to was U of H vs USF this year and 2 times watching their uncle play for Fresno against La Tech Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted February 26, 2014 Report Posted February 26, 2014 UH is worse than a bad high school. Most apathetic fans in the state. Quote
BlackShirts5 Posted February 26, 2014 Author Report Posted February 26, 2014 Well it was the Halloween game at Reliant. Wasn't o bad but we did get front row seats so I cant complain. Next up Taking them to some Rice baseball games. Took them to watch Neb vs UT last year and watched them play in a tourney in Huntsville 2 seasons ago. Quote
king Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Miami. September 20th can't wait to see Miami at Nebraska. I'm pretty sure alot of Husker fans still have that bad taste in they're mouth from that beatdown in the national title game. Quote
UTfanatic Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 The University of Texas Wrong forum? HOOKEM Quote
OldTimer Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Stephen F Austin - in that order. Quote
BlackShirts5 Posted February 27, 2014 Author Report Posted February 27, 2014 Dang you right Bulldog. Someone can move it if they want. King yea that NTL game was a beat down but any Husker fans knew that was going to happen. Miami way faster and a NFL tree for players that year. Look at the roster and count how many guys played or started in the NFL from that 01 Canes team. Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Wrong forum? It's Thunderdome up in here! Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Arkansas, Texas, Oregon & Kentucky: all NCAA activities Like to watch Texas Tech football and track but not a fan, yet. Quote
Peppermint Patty Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 I love the Longhorns, but I'll watch almost any game on TV. I just like to watch college sports. Quote
BlackShirts5 Posted February 27, 2014 Author Report Posted February 27, 2014 GCM that's pretty much me. Ill watch any NCAA sport that's on but my die hard team is the Huskers. I hate UT lol. But that's a Husker thing. Quote
Eagle11 Posted February 27, 2014 Report Posted February 27, 2014 Sam Houston State Bearkats. Mr. Cobb.....do you follow them in all sports? How does the Masters kid look this year? Quote
TxHoops Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 Texas A&M, Texas Tech and Stephen F Austin - in that order. You are unique OldTimer! Most of my Aggie buddies HATE Tech. FYI, Tech is my second favorite team, and my wife is a Lumberjack. So my order is just about the same as yours, with an obvious substitution at the top ;) Quote

Also had a brother that attended Texas so that is the reason that I don't "hate" Texas the way most Texas fans hate A&M - just sometimes find it hard to support the horns for some reason. Also, graduated from SFA. TxHoops 1 Quote

baddog Posted February 28, 2014 Report Posted February 28, 2014 The University of Texas t-shirt fan here. Been one my whole life. Used to enjoy Aggie football during the Slocum years. Watch all kinds of sports. Has to be exciting or I turn the channel or turn it off. Quote
