Obamacare

That "same crap" is pretty important to the success or failure of our country.  Sixburgh, what topics do you think are more important?  If you have some, bring them up .  If they are interesting enough, I am sure people will ignore Smitty and me and jump all over the topics that you feel are important.

We are not going to know for a while how Obamacare is working.  Additionally, Westend and Bluedove, if you accept those polls to which you refer, there is no doubt you will also accept the latest polls on the efficiency and competency of the President?  Of does one get to pick and choose which polls he thinks reflect things accurately?  In last months job report, everyone jumped up and down about the 288,000 increase in jobs.  It broke down into two components:  800,000 new part times jobs and 523000 LOST full time jobs.  You can attribute much of that to Obamacare.  If this trend continues, you will then be crediting Obama for the improved healthcare and probably blaming Bush or the Tsunami or a video for the loss of full time jobs.  The VA is a great example of government run healthcare.

From the article:

In the case, the plaintiff claimed the Obama administration – in particular, the Internal Revenue Service -- is breaking the law by offering tax subsidies in all 50 states to offset the cost of health insurance. The suit maintains that the language in ObamaCare actually restricts subsidies to state-run exchanges -- of which there are only 14 -- and does not authorize them to be given in the 36 states that use the federally run system, commonly known as HealthCare.gov.

that is a lie told by faux news.

@msnbc: Obamacare critic gets sick, changes his mind: http://on.msnbc.com/1GpezUj (Getty) http://twitter.com/msnbc/status/601049927872061440/photo/1

This has almost nothing to do with Obamacare other than another person that wants someone else to pay for his benefits.

Reading the story, he had no insurance. He simply took the risk of not getting sick. A friend persuaded him to get insurance. He did so under a state exchange. He could have gotten any company but he chose to live insurance free. Had he had almost any insurance, he would have likely gotten the same care, possibly better.

This is obviously a great case for MSNBC but they harp on Obamacare like it saved this guy's life but in truth his friend that persuaded him to actually get health care and to go see a doctor is what saved his life, not the US government.
