Guest ECBucFan Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 We are the right fit for the right person. We just need to find each other. I agree! Warren has the potential for sure. The Warriors just recently had a great year. I wish the very best for the Warren community to find the right guy and for him to stay. Quote
88Warrior Posted March 11, 2014 Report Posted March 11, 2014 Best wishes to Coach Woodard...Thanks for your hard work and for helping the boys believe in themselves again...You definitely are leaving it better than you found it!! Thanks Again! warparty 1 Quote
Chester86 Posted March 13, 2014 Report Posted March 13, 2014 Y'all had a chance to get Dubois a few years ago. He is the type of leader you need. Someone who is passionate, doesn't accept mediocrity and that the kids can look up to. Quote
88Warrior Posted March 18, 2014 Report Posted March 18, 2014 Several applicants....interviews this week... Quote

pirate supporter Posted March 19, 2014 Report Posted March 19, 2014 Any names floating around out there for this job?? Quote
chukslegacy Posted March 21, 2014 Report Posted March 21, 2014 Just like any other school, if you want to win then you must leave the coaching up to the coach and keep the school board members and the politics out! Warren has produced some talent in the past years but coaches are difficult to keep more than two years because warren is a stepping stone and a resume builder for those entering the coaching profession. Piratesdad4410 Posted March 23, 2014 Report Posted March 23, 2014 warren will win some games if the guy they offered the job to takes the job. they should know something this week!!!!!! warparty 1 Quote

EaglesFootball Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 I hear Babin got the job tonight Quote
OLDGREGG Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 Good luck to Coach Babin if it is indeed him that got the job. Can someone from Warren give confirmation? Quote
88Warrior Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 There is a scheduled school board meeting tonight...we'll see if there is an announcement about the HC/AD position. Quote
Scatright Posted March 25, 2014 Author Report Posted March 25, 2014 Wait, I'm having trouble believing that Babin would make the move from dville to warren. Seems like a lateral move at best. Unless there are some things going on at Deweyville that we don't know about. Is this confirmed? SteelerCzy 1 Quote

oldschool2 Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 The pay will be higher and a bigger school district. More to work with. Still not a very good move. In my opinion. I knew he would leave dville....because they lost so much and got into a nightmare of a district. But Warren won't any better. Coaching suicide if you ask me. But that's just me. 3n2 1 Quote
Guest ECBucFan Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 The pay will be higher and a bigger school district. More to work with. I understand if the pay is higher. That makes sense. More to work with? Possibly, but there is more to work against (in Div 1) too. Quote

eagleswoodville#1 Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 The pay would be up by a decent amount. And by "more to work with", he means there are more students and more players in the program. And I will be the first to tell you that Warren has some talent in their 9th grade group that this district should be ready for if their new coach can develop it. SteelerCzy and warparty 2 Quote
WTB Posted March 25, 2014 Report Posted March 25, 2014 There are other factors too when it comes to leaving Dville. Warren has some upside and commits to athletics alot more than Dville does. Atleast at the higher levels. Higher pay More Coaches doesnt have to do all the field work doesnt have to coach softball Quote

My "more to work with" comment wasn't just about how many student athletes are available. ;) Quote
Scatright Posted March 25, 2014 Author Report Posted March 25, 2014 Warrens coaches don't do the field work? They're not big enough for that. Quote
