Coach Myers Posted March 10, 2014 Report Posted March 10, 2014 Are you on a "select" Team that seems to be operated with motivation towards...money? Are you on a "select" Team that is showing uncomfortable favoritism to certain players based on reasons that have nothing to do with Baseball? Are you apart of an organization that never rotates their: batting order, defensive positioning, pitching rotation, etc... to give player's more experience in more aspects of the Game? Are you paying more than $150 a month to have your child on a "select" Team only to play local and against the same Teams every tournament - and in some cases, playing DOWN? ...the real questions you have to ask yourself are... Do you want your child to be apart of a Team that will push/challenge their skills - along with playing against the toughest competition we can find? Do you want your child to learn skills that teach: Overcoming Failure, Identifying Situations and Solutions, Reading and Exploiting Baseball Opponents, Creating a Personal Style of Play that allows you to express yourself through the Game, and many more "intangible" aspects to competition....? *Yes, we challenge and train the MIND* Monetary responsibilities...simple...$150/Month. No 'nickle and diming' during the month to cover costs that were never made transparent. Sox Baseball is not a "money making" operation - it is simply a Baseball Operation. We don't say were 100% Baseball...we Act 100% Baseball. Who are we looking for? A Baseball Player that isn't afraid to be challenged On this Team, you will play 3 Positions regularly (3 is the minimum, overall Goal is offering exposure/experience to every player at every position. We do not limit the amount of Baseball our Players should learn) "We will never know our full potential unless we push ourselves to find it." Quote
