I had Florida as the best team in the country and winning it all until today when the brackets came out today. Their draw is absolutely brutal for the #1 overall seed.

I agree but they only have themselves to blame.  No excuse in hoops not to schedule some strong teams.  30+ games and no one is afraid of a loss.  The big programs have learned to err on the side of strength of schedule with the NCAA Selections Committee.  That's what got an NC St team in over SMU.  Hopefully, Larry Brown is in the process of righting that wrong.  I would bet he is.
