4A: Magnolia West 33, Humble Summer Creek 26
We all love a good postseason upset, right? Humble Summer Creek was a heavy favorite in their area round matchup – the Bulldogs were 11-0 and cruising, while Magnolia West (despite an impressive win over Manor the week before) looked vulnerable. But the Mustangs stormed out in the second half, scoring three touchdowns and stopping Summer Creek’s big-time offense on a key fourth-down play late in the game to seal the mammoth upset.
