Does he have a right to protest the fed gov charging him grazing fees...yep.

 

Should he have paid the fees while protesting...yep.

 

Should his thoughts on race, right or wrong, have any bearing on this case...no.

Because most Republican politicians, like Democrats, are always minimizing damage in order to be re-elected and realized this story was about to be about Bundy's views rather than the BLM's actions and anyone lining up with the guy is a racist.
