88Warrior Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 Woodville and Warren play this evening to close out the regular season. Quote
warparty Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 Gonna seem weird playing this game with no play-off implications on the line for both teams. Quote
eagleswoodville#1 Posted April 22, 2014 Report Posted April 22, 2014 Yes I know. Trust me. I'm on the "non-playoff" side of that. warparty 1 Quote
eagleswoodville#1 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 It was: Woodville 5 Warren 0 When I drove by about thirty minutes ago. Bottom 4. Quote
88Warrior Posted April 23, 2014 Author Report Posted April 23, 2014 Warren 9 Woodville 5 Final SteelerCzy 1 Quote
whsalum Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 Warren scored 8 in the bottom of the 6th. To go up 9-5, the wheels came off for the Eagles !! Quote
Chester86 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 Someone help me, but I was told this completed a Warrior sweep this year. They won in football, both basketball games and now both baseball games. If this is true surely it has to be a first. Congratulations to the Warriors. txtitan72 1 Quote
texas13 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 Warren didn't win in football that was last year txtitan72 1 Quote
Chester86 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 Thank you sir, my information was wrong. I thought it sounded wrong. Quote
bcyawn Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 i thought warren won the last two years in football. i believe the score was 25 to 12 this year Quote
88Warrior Posted April 23, 2014 Author Report Posted April 23, 2014 Warren swept Woodville in football, basketball and baseball this school year...yes most likely the first time they've done that... txtitan72 1 Quote

txtitan72 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 It made senior night. There is always something said when Warren plays Woodville. This Warren Baseball team was pretty much counted out before the season even got started, I believe we lost 10 players last year and 8 were starting. It goes to show you that a little motivation and a lot of hard work, the sky is the limit. Quote
txtitan72 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 Oh that's was wrong about Woodville winning in football. It was a CLEAN SWEEP. Karma, it's a B!+€# Quote
eagleswoodville#1 Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 Karma from what exactly?? Please enlighten us. Geez. I don't recall it ever being a big deal when we beat Warren in every boys sport for 3 of my 4 highschool years. Quote

whsalum Posted April 23, 2014 Report Posted April 23, 2014 These games are always fun and competitive. Even when one club has a decided advantage over the other they always seem to be close. I don't remember one school sweeping the other in every sport very often. Not sure what's going on in Woodville but they have way to many athletes not to be competitive at the 2-a level. That being said the kids from Warren should be proud of themselves, nobody saw the sweep coming before the season started. Quote

But things are definitely being done to correct that. Quote
