Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 @jadande: 1 player asked me: if Sterling feels that way, how do the rest of the owners feel about us? Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 @CraigSagerJr: Donald Sterling's comments r not just an embarrassment to humans/the NBA, it's an embarrassment to every living thing to ever walk the earth Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 @NOLAnews: Los Angeles Clippers owner Donald Sterling should be ousted as owner; league should seize franchise and sell to... http://bit.ly/1kgVpmV Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 @AlexKennedyNBA: Some teams aren't allowing their players to comment on the Donald Sterling situation. Needless to say, some players aren't happy about that. Quote

PNGFan Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 I have a question. Sterling is a idiot and should be banned from the NBA. I have always respected Charles Barkley, but the comment he made during halftime could be deemed as racist also. He stated "Blacks" own the NBA. What if the role was reversed, would a "Black" person deem that as a racist comment? Quote
BLUEDOVE3 Posted April 27, 2014 Author Report Posted April 27, 2014 I'd like the opinion of Steve Nash on this particular matter with the NBA owner........And not Dartmouth Univ. Quote
stevenash Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Completely out of line. No place for that kind of talk under any circumstance. Dove, now that I have responded, let me know what you think of the Dartmouth situation. Quote

He is an analyst, totally different role/job under a boss not named Adam Silver. As for his comments I didn't find anything wrong knowing it came from him and the context he was stating his opinion in. Shaq also. Quote

mat Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 This is sad of Clipper players and fans during a great season. The NBA needs to figure out how to legally handle him and get rid of him in a manor to be least distracting through the playoffs. Racism is alive but the fact that a league and a nation can and will rise in protest and potential force a mega-million owner out says that we are gaining ground on racism. Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 Even President Obama made a comment about this idiot. http://www.cnn.com/2014/04/27/us/nba-team-owner-alleged-racist-remarks/index.html?c=&page=1 Quote
Mr. Buddy Garrity Posted April 27, 2014 Report Posted April 27, 2014 I was very shocked that Baron Davis interview was BEFORE this current Sterling mess popped off. Would not surprise me if Silver pushes the issue like MLB did with that idiotic owner of the Reds and got Sterling up outta here. Im sure other owners that feel the same way Sterling does are re-evaluating their thoughts right about now. Quote
