PAMFAM10 Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Dove, since you are the race card police, I would like to get an answer to a question posed previously but never answered. If it is racist to oppose everything the President says or does, is it also racist to support, unconditionally, the President in everything he says or does?Nash come to kill all topics Quote
stevenash Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Sorry, but my question falls DIRECTLY under the name of the thread. Would you care to answer the question? Quote

PAMFAM10 Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Sorry, but my question falls DIRECTLY under the name of the thread. Would you care to answer the question? I said this time after time no disagree all you want. Quote
stevenash Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Thank you- No need to disagree. Neither example (neither, being the key word) is demonstrative of racism. Am I understanding you correctly? Quote
LumRaiderFan Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Who is being racist for opposing the President? No one is...thanks for agreeing. Quote
stevenash Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Dove- since we believe so strongly in diversity, I want to give you an example of racism from my viewpoint that I considered blatant. And it is an area with which you are particularly conversant. My personal opinion is that there was considerable racism involved when Ozen High School received an application from one of the all time great Texas High School basketball coaches ( whose initials are TS). He was granted a very short interview ( during which, a couple of the interviewers did cross word puzzles) and the interviewee NEVER heard from them again. I wonder why? Was it his basketball credentials? Wouldnt it be interesting to compare his credentials against those hired? Quote
5GallonBucket Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 believe me Nash.......TS is happier where he is now..... Quote
BMTSoulja1 Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 How is it determined that 'TS' is happier now when he'll never know how happy he could be at Ozen? Don't you mean he is 'happy' where he is now? Quote
BLUEDOVE3 Posted June 4, 2014 Author Report Posted June 4, 2014 No one is...thanks for agreeing. How did I agree and I asked a question. Conservative logic I guess  Mr. Buddy Garrity 1 Quote

stevenash Posted June 4, 2014 Report Posted June 4, 2014 Dove, do you think racism was involved when TS got no consideration for the Ozen job when he had, BY FAR, the superior credentials.? Quote
TxHoops Posted June 5, 2014 Report Posted June 5, 2014 Dove- since we believe so strongly in diversity, I want to give you an example of racism from my viewpoint that I considered blatant. TxHoops Posted June 5, 2014 Report Posted June 5, 2014 But for argument's sake, mightn't there have been a reason that was not racially motivated? For instance, since BISD is an "open" district, suppose there were Central supporters on the committee that did not want to see Ozen become the completely dominant basketball program in Beaumont. I have no idea either way since I was not even aware he had interviewed. Just wondering aloud. Quote
TxHoops Posted June 5, 2014 Report Posted June 5, 2014 However, I can't imagine a school in the state (or probably the country) that had an open head basketball coach position that wouldn't LOVE to have "TS." Quote

stevenash Posted June 5, 2014 Report Posted June 5, 2014 TS? The head coach of your favorite local3-a school where real basketball is not played but a weak schedule is. Same school where off season workouts are the wrong ones. Quote

Same school where off season workouts are the wrong ones. " :D Quote
BLUEDOVE3 Posted June 5, 2014 Author Report Posted June 5, 2014 I didn't realize TS had applied for the Ozen position when it was open. All I heard about was TW & DJ. Quote
