Bigdog
Remember what I said about RICO charges a couple of weeks ago. I wouldn't be surprised if we see some of those charges come down.
CRUSHCOACH
This is really getting ridiculous ! How can a school district allow this GROSS misuse to continue for so long.

BLUEDOVE3
Well Dove, do you still believe that only a couple of folks within BISD are responsible for everything that has taken place? In reference to the 4 million dollars, I still standby my statement that only a few were involved. Now, this alleged scamming could indeed involve an extra 4-5 people

mat
I think it could be fair to say this is highly unusual stuff and not the norm in other districts.

AggiesAreWe
Actually, its not uncommon in the public school systems. Yea, TEA threatens to take over school districts every month. Only 4 school districts have been taken over by TEA in the last 50 years, soon to be 5. stevenash
Dove, are you saying that the theft of 4 million is commonplace among school districts?
bullets13
Dove, are you saying that the theft of 4 million is commonplace among school districts? What about the board voting to renew the contract of someone who took a plea deal to avoid being prosecuted for overcharging the district over 3 million? And then the board voting NOT to take steps to recoup the money, even though eligible. Just normal school board politics?
