Guest ECBucFan Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 ToTal guess: 1) EC (well, thats not a really a guess....) 2) Buna (Coogs got it rollin' now....) 3) Warren (could be DV, but I think they are loseing lots of senioirs)
hdbasketballstar Posted January 20, 2007 Report Posted January 20, 2007 That looks good like that. ecbuc i think it just may be right.
SteelerCzy Posted January 21, 2007 Report Posted January 21, 2007 EC - Too much talentDeweyville - Lost some talent, return a ton of talent.Anahuac/Buna/Warren - TossupIMHO
Guest ECBucFan Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Am hearing EC has two Juniors up for WRS award.... Tremaine Thomas (Off) and Paul Trammel (Def). Is this unprecedented for 2A???
Guest ECBucFan Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 We have the POTENTIAL (I stress POTENTIAL) to be a freakin' nightmare next season. V-Mac, Donte Raymond, etc. will be back too!
Bucster Posted January 24, 2007 Report Posted January 24, 2007 Am hearing EC has two Juniors up for WRS award.... Tremaine Thomas (Off) and Paul Trammel (Def). Tramaine Thomas is a tremendous athlete on both the football field and basketball court. Paul Trammell makes the most of his limited athletic skills by playing with a big heart. He had a solid season despite playing all year with a pulled hamstring and later a deep thigh bruise both of which limited his mobility. Good luck to both young men. Having 2 finalists for the WRS award is a great honor for the entire Buccaneer football team!
duckbutter Posted February 2, 2007 Report Posted February 2, 2007 Newton won't be to shabby next yr, finally got past our rebuilding yr and ready to make another run. I think we are returning 17-18 starters.
king Posted February 3, 2007 Report Posted February 3, 2007 Is Esway from warren a junior this year??
STINGER Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 23-AA '071. Newton1. Corrigan-Camden3. Hemphill4. San Augustine5. Woodville6. ShelbyvilleIt will be a fight for first place in this district between Newton and Corrigan! Both teams should be loaded not losing many from last years teams..... I look for both of these teams to make deep playoff runs and a possible state championship for either one!
duckbutter Posted February 7, 2007 Report Posted February 7, 2007 I think your right, both will be SALTY!
ECBuc08 Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 I agree with ECBucFan that EC has the potential, I believe, that could take them to state. Now wether or not they use that potential to their advantage, its up to them!!!!
WarriorSports Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 No Esway is a Sr this year so he will be gone. But we have a move-in that could feel his shoes very nicely...better lucky than good neday!!
K-TOWNLB Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 1)KOUNTZE(THEY R A YOUNG TEAM LOOKIN 4 VICTORY)2)E-C(GOOD TEAM JUST GONNA GEAT BEAT THIS YEAR)3)BUNA/DEWEYVILLE(BOTH GOOD TEAMS)
WarriorSports Posted February 8, 2007 Report Posted February 8, 2007 1)KOUNTZE(THEY R A YOUNG TEAM LOOKIN 4 VICTORY)2)E-C(GOOD TEAM JUST GONNA GEAT BEAT THIS YEAR)3)BUNA/DEWEYVILLE(BOTH GOOD TEAMS)what are you crazy, Kountze at number (1) ?? hahaha EC will dominate that district with buna/deweyville close behind. Kountze will fight for 4th place with warren and anahuac.
Guest ECBucFan Posted February 11, 2007 Report Posted February 11, 2007 I wish Ktz. well in their football program. I am sorry to see that some guys played half a year, then quit (as a group) on their TEAMmates. The players left on that team didn't deserve the others quitting on them. I hope things go smoothly for Ktz. in the coming year.
OO7 Posted February 12, 2007 Report Posted February 12, 2007 1)KOUNTZE(THEY R A YOUNG TEAM LOOKIN 4 VICTORY)2)E-C(GOOD TEAM JUST GONNA GEAT BEAT THIS YEAR)3)BUNA/DEWEYVILLE(BOTH GOOD TEAMS)Don't see that happen. Kountze and Hardin will battle to stay out of the cellar.
WAHOO-22 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 I agree kountze doesnt have a chance next year. It will be either ec or buna for first and second and third will either be dville or warren.
BHS06 Posted February 15, 2007 Report Posted February 15, 2007 Yea its gotta be EC or Buna. Both are returning alot of talent. Buna should still have a bitter taste about losing to anahuac last season and is coming off a great year. Deweyville is losing alot of seniors but coach bickham will have them ready. 1.Buna?EC2.Buna/EC3.Deweyville/WarrenGood luck to all our area teams!!Period
Guest ECBucFan Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 Coogs got it rollin' now....!
BCoogs08 Posted February 16, 2007 Report Posted February 16, 2007 True. Coogs like how it feels to win and are going to come in to next season and try to build on what they did next year. Got a lot of Seniors next year and some really good juniors
duckbutter Posted February 20, 2007 Report Posted February 20, 2007 The real test will be if they can get past the first round, Newton and Corrigan are both going to be vastly improved from last yr.
SteelerCzy Posted February 22, 2007 Report Posted February 22, 2007 Newton is always going to be competitive, and Corrigan is a top notch program with alot of talent, that District should be very good this year.
