Newton Coach headed to Marshall?

Heard this afternoon that a  Newton Coach may be talking to Marshall about becoming their next Head Coach. Here is a article about Coach Suthern leaving.

Why would he move and he is in the perfect situation in Newton? Then again Marshall does have some nice facilities though and can make the playoffs in 4A every year.

You think maybe $95,00.00 may loosen him up a little? They just built a what 1.5 million dollar weight room? Here are some other names.

Chad Morris: ex-coach from Elysian Fields. I think he's in Bay City now.

Coach Harris DC for the Mavs

Coach Brewer- OC for the Mavs

The coach at Tatum....name?

Jeff Traylor- Gilmer

Robert Bero- Ex Longview coach. Think he's at Spring Hill now.

Dennis Parker- you never know.

Kyle Preston- Ex OC for Marshall. Now in Nacogdoches.

Scott Ford- Ex Maverick Player. He's a coach now. Doing very well. I think he's in Los Fresnos. He's 36-11 there.

Yea Morris was in Bay City at one time and is now in Stephenville.

Likely top 3 will be Gilmer's coach, Barbay, and the coach from Tatum--Coach Evans.

Heard today that Marshall will promote from within. Money does strange things to a man.  ;D
