In Lakewood, California, a man who sent four golf balls into the lake at the local golf club decided that he wasn’t a gifted golfer. He was so upset at his effort that he threw his golf bag into the lake and stormed off to his car.

Onlookers thought that he had had a change of heart when he went back down to the lake and waded out into the water. He then grabbed the bag, searched the pockets until he found his car keys, returned to his car bag-less, and drove away.

When this sinful world tosses Christianity away because they are offended by it they make the mistake of rejecting the One who said, “I am he that lives, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of Hell and of death” (Revelation 1:18).
