the annual we have too many kids being recognized thread

 

the retort will be that it waters down and deminishes the prestige

 

in a week no one will talk about it, but in 20 years the kid will be able to tell his kids that he made an all disrict team.  And if that helps continue to pique interest to youngsters for the greatest game in the world, then in the end its a good thing.

 All-District is becoming a joke! One PNG player made the team and played 1 game at that position and only got 6 basehits. Why would they screw kid's who played that position all year. He also only got 6 hits. Another one made it and was dh'd for most of district. I don't really understand. Surely these coach's exchange stats? If so the coach would have had to lie to the other coaches for them to be voted in.

KOGT (re)did the list correcting incorrect spelling of the names that were submitted to them and adding the 2nd team dh that was not on it.
